SATA Wednesday 12/14 Takes FIRST FOREIGN Trip To UGANDA
REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT Michael Sata will subtract 2 days of his 90-day development promise to undertake his first high-profiled foreign trip.
With about 10 days before the elapse of the development promise President Sata, can tomorrow, Wednesday, afford his maiden trip outside the country since the September, 20th general elections.
Mr. Sata, who has shunned international trips for the two and half months, as a cost serving measure of the country’s meagre resources, travels to Kampala, Uganda, to attend the 4th International Conference on the Great Lakes Region Summit (ICGLR).
Recently while on a private visit to Southern Pronvince, Mr. Sata refused to board the Presidential motorcade in preference for a family bus as a cost serving measure.
The Zambian leader’s dislike for extravagance has been communicated to state security agents who he has accused of over protection.
The Uganda Summit that takes place from 15th to 16th December, 2011 will see President, Sata hand over Zambia’s chairmanship of the group to his Ugandan counterpart, Yoweri Museveni.
The President will be accompanied by First Lady, Dr Christine Kaseba-Sata, who will deliver a keynote address at the First Ladies meeting on the sidelines of the summit.

He can hand over the chairmanship to the vice president, who in turn will hand over to Museveni. He doesnt have to go to Uganda. Cost serving

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THE COST SAVING ON THE LIVINGSTONE TRIP FELLOW CITIZENS. HAD THE SECURITY PERSONNEL BEEN TOLD NOT TO BURN FUEL, NOT TO MENTION THE ALLOWANCES FOR THE TRAVELLING PARTY, ALL THE WAY FROM LUSAKA TO LIVINGSTONE, THEN THAT WAS TRUE COST SERVING.
REMEMBER HE IS HEAD OF STATE AND HIS PERSONAL SECURITY CANNOT BE COMPROMISED. I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY VEHICLES LEFT LUSAKA FOR LIVINGSTONE ONLY TO BE TOLD, I WILL USE THE BUS.

This is my third time reading articles on this web page. While I appreciate some informative articles and comments posted, I am afraid, if the operators of this web site won’t mind regulating what is posted to some extend, we may kindle a fire which might be difficult to quench.
Look at the hate comment about the Tongas posted by Mutototo! on December 13, 2011 at 10:13 pm. I am not Tonga, but if some Tongas read this article and happen to discover who this Mutototo! is and what his tribe is, do you thing they and their children will grow to love him/her and his/her tribe?
Let’s promote peace, love and co-existance. Don’t take the peace we are enjoying as a country for granted. God bless mother Zambia and all her inhabitants.

Bemba for Life. Some of these tribes have inferiority complex. You cannot run away from the fact, bembas are just intelligent. Bemba women make good wife and bemba women look after their families well. Its a distinction to be ONE BEMBA WOMAN BEAUTIFUL AND WELL MANNERD.I dont mean other tribes are inferior.
