HH knows that Sata is a driven workaholic who cannot tolerate failure in anything he commits himself to – and he has a track record to prove this. Now that Sata wants to play an oversight role over RDA, there is a very good chance that the Link 8000 road project will succeed. The success of this project is HH’s worst nightmare scenario because it will sound a death – knell for his Presidential ambitions in 2016 and beyond.

The guy above @kapuli wa ng’ongo, you are missing the point, a lot of what goes on under the OP is classified, how then can you expect transparency in RDA in such a situation? You may trust Sata personally just like many trusted Chiluba (refer to Zamptrop OP account) but exposing himself to potential corruption is not the way to go. Anyway, if corruption does occur at RDA it will now fall squarely on the head of HEMCS.

HH IS EHTITLED TO HIS OPINION. LET ME REMIND HIM HOWEVER THAT THE MOVE TO PLACE RDA UNDER OP OVERSSIGHT IS A NOBLE ONE GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF IMPROPRIETY AND. CORRUPTION.

LET ME ALSO INDICATE TO HH THAT THE OP HAS A PLETHIRA OF SKILLED STAFF ACROSS A BROAD RANGE OF TECHNICAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND INTELIGENCE WORK.

THE OP HAS ALSO IN THE PAST RAN A NUMBER OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES AND COMPANIES STILL OPERATING TODAY.

FINALLY LET HH BE REMINDED THAT THE PRESIDENT AND PRESIDEBCY IN ZAMBIA OVERSEES THE FOLLOWING:

1 . THE ARMY THE POLICE THE PARA MILITARY THE AIRFORCE THE NATIONAL SERVICE AND THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT ITSELF IS PRESIDED OVER BY THE PRESIDENT AS COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

2. THE WHOLE 752,649km sq OF LAND MAKING ZAMBIA IS VESTED IN THE PRESIDENT.

3. THE WHOLE EXECUTIVE IN THE SYSTEM OF OUR NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE IS HEADED BY THE PRESIDENT.

4. THE FORMING OF GOVERNMENT AND APPOINTING OF MINISTERS AND OTHER CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICE HOLDERS IS PRESIDED OVER BY OUR PRESIDENT.

THERE ARE SEVERAL MORE GOVERNANCE AUTHORITIES AND EXAMPLES I CAN SHARE WITH HH ON THIS SUBJECT.

FACT REMAINS THAT THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT AND WILL NOT INTERFERE IN THE RUNNING OF THE INSTITUTIONS HE IS PREVILEGED TO PRESIDE OVER.
