Rupiah Has Helped Bring MMD to its Knees – Ng’oma

POLITICAL analyst Dr Alex Ng’oma says the role Rupiah Banda has played in the disintegration of the MMD has left the party on its knees. And Dr Ng’oma says MMD is at its weakest point “precisely because of the suicidal behaviour exhibited by its senior members” who have endorsed other presidential candidates instead of party leader Nevers Mumba. Dr Ng’oma, a political science lecturer at the University of Zambia, said the decision by former president Banda to abandon his successor for a rival party amounts to betrayal of the party that enabled him rule Zambia for three years. “In politics, one must understand the fact that once you have served, you must move on,” he said. “Society cannot come to stand with you just because you have served, other people will come up and continue where others left off.” Dr Ng’oma said it is difficult to understand why Banda attempted to remove Mumba who succeeded him so that he could contest this Tuesday’s presidential election. “The role that Banda has played in the disintegration of the MMD is very regrettable. He has undermined Mumba instead of supporting him. Also, another problem is the MMD party members who have chosen to further undermine Mumba by endorsing other party leaders. I must say MMD is on its knees,’’ he said. Dr Ng’oma said MMD was currently at its lowest ebb because its senior members are supporting other candidates instead of Mumba. He, however, said the current leadership of the MMD stood a chance of resurrecting the former ruling party from its woes. “One would want to assume that all those that have left the party, let it be good riddance so that Mumba can start from scratch re-organising the MMD, and Mumba will surely not do well in these coming elections but they can focus their eyes on future elections and to get there comfortably. Re-organisation must start now,’’ Dr Ng’oma said. He said those members supporting other parties must be sidelined and expelled from the MMD and be allowed to move on to parties of their choice. Dr Ng’oma said Mumba must recruit his own people and build a team around him and move forward. “It is possible for MMD to rise from the ashes depending on what Mumba does,” said Dr Ng’oma. “Taking the principle of the Phoenix, MMD can continue on its weak path which the leadership failed, to mobilise and organise and rise from the ashes.” – See more at: http://postzambia.com/news.php?id=5481#sthash.bep3HpRd.dpuf

With less than 24hours before Zambia votes for its 6th Republican President, Opposition Poor People’s Party President Alex Muliokela says he has endorsed Edgar Lungu in tomorrows election.
Mr Muliokela has since urged his supporters to vote for Edgar Lungu in Tuesday’s Presidential election since his name is not on the Presidential ballot papers.

Mr Muliokela justified his reasons for voting Edgar Lungu as a need for continuity with the ruling Patriotic Front government until next year 2016 because their mandate ends then.

Edgar Lungu will never be the President of Zambia. HH is the next Republic of Zambia after 20th January 2015.

The supporters of Edgar lungu should start preparing ropes to hang themselves after Lungu loses.

      HH IS WINNING

.—HH is on record oppossing salary increaments for civil servants when pf govt increased their salaries,he was also in the forefront to oppose the increase in tax threshold which govt increased from k1000 to k3000 saying its not viable. So as civil servants expect no increaments from this liar.If he opposed it do u thinj when he becomes the boss he will improve on what he was against with.It was on TV,Radio even on social media.

Rupiah is actually UNIP.He was brought from the farm by Levy.He thought just as he was woken from sleep by FTJ,he too should do the same by bringing Rupiah a life member of UNIP.It’s unfortunate that even pipo Jezebel Dora have failed to see thru this Wako ni wako Umodzi Kumawa nonsense.Kaingu also has followed suit. This polygamist belongs to the dust bin of yesterday’s toxic politics without morals. One thing,am sure of is:THE MMD is being Reborn. The rifraff old MMD Members are systematically purging themselves from the Party.Who thought,Mutati,Musokotwane,Prof.Lungwangwa etc can sink that low to speak against MMD which has made them to be what they are now-I just urge Dr Mumba to be strong-the best is yet to come.Wina azalila.

    Dear PF Youth Members;

I am sad to inform you that we are likely to lose tomorrow Tuesday (2.01,15)to HH/UPND but with a small margin, but this is mainly due to violence and infighting that our party has experience since the demise of our beloved President Micheal Chilufya Sata (MHSRIP).

According to the 95% of the opinion polls conducted by our Party-PF, Muvi TV, Zambia Eye, the Post Newspaper and other Reliable Non governmental Organizations, the UPND/HH is favorable to win tomorrow’s Presidential Elections.

To this effect, I would like to inform all the Zambian People that as Patriotic Front, we are ready to concead defeat in the event that we lose tomorrow’s elections. At the same time, on behalf of the PF, I would like to condemn to sentiments attributed to the MMD President Nervers Mumba in which he said he would petition the presidential elections because of his MPs that are supporting the PF and UPND, as PF we believe such sentiments are a recipe for anarchy. Dr. Nevers Mumba should emulate us the ruling party on our pledge to concead defeat in an event that the UPND/HH wins the Presidency.

As Zambians we should learn to support each other, regardless of whatever party wins. According to our analysis as PF, HH is expected to win by getting 42% and Edgar Lungu will come second by getting 36%.

The PF as a party is calling on the ECZ to ensure that its conduct free and fair elections to avoid post election violence. I am further calling on ECZ to investigate the rigging allegations as reported by the Zambian Watch Dog so that all suspicions are erased before it is too late. AS pf we are not interested in rigging elections, but that is not to say other members of our party cannot have such evil ideas. No wander we are calling on ECZ to ensure that any person who is going to mastermind rigging, is dealt with firmly. We would rather lose than winning a fraudulent and incredible elections.
Finally I call on PF not to to be demoralized by the fact that the PF is losing tomorrow’s elections, but should rather wake up early to vote to support our President Edgar Lungu.

    HON.CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI MP
    PF YOUTH CHAIRMAN.

Alex Ng’oma is not a political analyst. he is just a pf cadre period. MMD has been destroyed by Mumba not RB. RB and Mumba agreed that RB comes back. Mumba was paid to block RB by mathani. because mathani wants HH to win. He is the same who made Guy Scott to ensure PF has no access to its own incumbency. Pf right now is participating in these election as an opposition party. The ruling flag has been simulated on the side of HH by mathani money. RB had to help Edgar. RB sides with the misunderstood and marginalized. thanx to RB Edgar has touched quite some places.

THE DISASTROUS AND EMBARRASSING DOWNFALL OF RB IS NOT FAR. AT THE POST NEWSMAKERS FORUM TWO AND A HALF WEEKS AGO, WHEN ASKED ABOUT RB’S BETRAYAL TO MMD, NEVERS MUMBA ANSWERED, “I FEAR FOR THE END OF RB.”

THERE IS A WAY IN WHICH THE SENSE OF AIR PLAY, FAIRNESS, JUSTICE AND DECENCY ACT OUT TO PUNISH PEOPLE LIKE RB.

POSTERITY WILL SURELY JUDGE HIM HARSHLY. MMD PULLED HIM OUT OF OBSURITY AND MADE HIM ENTER STATE HOUSE. LEVY PATRICK MUST BE TURNING IN HIS GRAVE.

THE RIDICULE BY GUY SCOTT AT THE WOODLANDS STADIUM RALLY THAT HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHY AN OLD FORMER PRESIDENT HAS COME BACK TO ACTIVE POLITICS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. ZAMBIANS WILL EAT RB UP. HE IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO YOUNG PEOPLE. HE CAN NEVER BE A STATESMAN IN ZAMBIA.
