PF Bans Baluba Ward 23 Councillor Mpundu

THE ruling Patriotic Front (PF) in Roan constituency has suspended its Baluba Ward 23 councillor Gershom Mpundu from the party for allegedly working with the United Party for National Development.
PF Roan constituency chairperson Nebat Matatiyo confirmed the development in an interview, alleging that Mr Mpundu was “eating with both hands” and that there is no way the party could work with such a councillor.
Mr Matatiyo said Mr Mpundu has been barred from attending full council meetings.
“There is no way we could work with someone who is eating with both hands, yes I can confirm that he has been suspended, and he has not responded to the letters of the suspension that we wrote him,” Mr Matatiyo said.
He said the party will further make recommendations to the higher ranks of the party.
And Mr Mpundu confirmed his suspension from the party which he described as unfair.
“Yes I can confirm that I was given the suspension, I have been accused of working with the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and organising for UPND in my ward,” Mr Mpundu said.
Mr Mpundu said it was not true that he was working with UPND, adding that some people are just jealousy of him because he is on the ground organising people for the PF.
“It is only that I am loved by many people in my ward, hence they are now linking me to the UPND,” he said.
Mr Mpundu also wondered why PF cadres should stop him from attending council meetings.
“I have been barred from attending the full council meeting by PF cadres but this is not fair, civic matters should be differentiated from party issues,” he complained.
And when the matter was raised during a full council meeting, Luanshya mayor Gordon Siwale said Mr Mpundu should have written to either his office or the office of the town clerk over the action by cadres to bar him from attending civic duties.

People have now realised that working under a visionless person wont help our country. Only useless selfish lunatics will still stick and force to drive a vehicle without fuel and wheels.

Iwe ka NEZ! do you really think there shall be a time when Hakainde shall have 100% liking in Zambia? In your very small world, do you think intelligence is obtained from supporting your preferred politician? “Only useless, selfish lunatics” You’ll eat your words one day.
What is so difficult with respecting people with divergent views?

Morning Kakolwe, am back in Zambia to check on my investment and am just amazed to see how our people are suffering in the corridors of Lusaka. This is not good, however choices have consequences and now Zambians are reaping what they sowed. I cant stand the Zesco blackouts, high fuel prices when on the international market it keeps dropping. Why all this mess? Oh come on we can do better than this and together we can make a difference.

@Mwaka, Supposing you were born before then, how many winds of change in favour of upnd have you seen since 2006? How many Heats have we felt from the upnd! Yours are barren wombs that deliver air after each election! From these experiences, count not your chicks before they hatch.

UPND supporters I wish you knew the pain HH goes through each time you give him force hopes. In January most PF sympathizes did not vote and they will not repeat that mistake. Believe me Lungu will beat HH by more than 50%. HH will only beat lungu pa ZWD, MUV TV and southern province

Victory is on HH’s side this tym Lungu has exhibited his inability to take this nation anywhere good. Pf is fragmented already en an logical person can see tht. RB has helped him to destroy PF like th way he did with MMD.
