Pumulani A Lungu …We Don’t Want You To Collapse Again – Nawakwi

A Lungu pumulani, the people of Zambia don’t want you to collapse again because of overstretching your capacity, says Edith Nawakwi. In an interview yesterday, the FDD leader said President Edgar Lungu was making too many unnecessary movements for a man with a low blood sugar condition.
President Lungu has recently been to Angola, South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Uganda and is next week expected in Botswana, according to government sources. Unconfirmed social media reports claimed that President Lungu had a low blood sugar attack after the state banquet with his Malawian counterpart Peter Mutharika and was made to sit down to recover. But Nawakwi expressed concern that President Lungu was overstretching himself without showing any results for it.
“My advice to my brother is that in as much as he wants to endear himself to the region, it is not necessary to travel in the manner he is doing. Is it because he knows that he is not coming back after 2016 that he is wasting taxpayers’ money flying around from one capital city to another? Please a Lungu my brother pumulani, take some rest,” Nawakwi advised. “He really needs to rest.
We all know that the job is stressful. It requires a lot of rest and wellness. But flying around from capital city to capital city is not helping him.” She asked presidential advisors to stop President Lungu from overstretching his capacity to work by encouraging him not to travel anyhow.
“I wonder how those people feel when they see the President collapse, because if they were concerned, they would stop him from making unnecessary movements,” Nawakwi said. “In fact, I want to remind him that during the time when Michael Sata was unwell, his advisors pushed him to the brink. And I came out in the open and said, ‘The president’s advisors are like ticks; they want to feast even on a dead carcass’.
They know that the Head of State needs some rest, but because they want to serve their own interests, they will still pretend that our man is okay.” She said presidential advisors were enjoying the trip and had no capacity to question the Head of State. “It seems they are happy following him behind for the sake of allowances. When he says ‘Let’s go to Uganda’, very quickly they pick up their bags and say, ‘Inde a Lungu tiyeni you are working very hard. Let’s go’. When he says ‘Let’s go and see Lake Malawi’, akuti ‘Inde a Lungu takonzeka kale, you are working very hard, let’s go’. That is not working hard.
You are killing him,” Nawakwi said. Meanwhile, Nawakwi says as long as people in Luapula Province continue to vote for the PF, the region will remain forgotten. Speaking when she addressed a public meeting in Chimembe ward, Nawakwi that the province had always voted for the ruling party but that there was nothing to show for it in terms of development. “The people in this province are loyal to the ruling party because you have always sided with the party in government. You always voted for UNIP when they were in office and when MMD came in power you gave them all the seats and now you have given PF all the seats in parliament but you are not benefiting from this loyalty,” Nawakwi said. “You vote for the ruling party but you have no schools, no clinics and the road infrastructure is nothing to talk about. You have never shown these people that you deserve better and you can only do that by not voting for them.
I’m asking you to vote for the FDD, not only as a reminder to this government that you exist but because [Robby] Mwansa is a better candidate standing on a party with morals and integrity,” she said. She also complained that officers from the Intelligence were making manoeuvres to influence polling officers to manipulate the outcome of the by-election.
“The police officers who are here are walking; they don’t even have vehicles. My heart bleeds to see police officers walking to go and man polling stations. But this government has so much money to give to the OP to buy the presiding officers so that the PF can take this seat. I have a lot of respect for the officers and the police; they know that I respect them, but they are being used by this government,” said Nawakwi. “But I want to warn, and we have told our people that if we find any Intelligence officer manipulating the election results, we will throw them in the Kang’wena River.
It’s not easy for us to come and camp for all these days and only to see them come and manipulate the results. They should think twice.”

Resting for the man called Chibuku Chagwa is not enough. He should instead consider stepping down on medical grounds.

Its good its coming from you a staunch PF man. Some people are taking it as jealous, our president has visited more that 7 countries in just 7 months. Mathematically, he visits a country every month! – besides that he is not even well.

Lungu needs to sit down in the office and start working on poverty reduction and lowering unemployment levels.
Lungu needs a Job description. Too much loitering or wondering from province to province and country to country.
The senseless trips have no economical gain or advantage to Zambia.

You want a president who hides all the time in state house. A President needs to visit people all the time. ECL chairs cabinet meetings every Tuesday and works on the decisions made by cabinet so what do you want the man to do. Iwe ka Edith what are you doing in Samfya and all over Zambia yourself?

Ever since power cuts increased, it has created a business opportunity for me selling items such as solar lamps, gas stoves and gensets. Zambians are busy complaining as Indians make money out of the same bad situation. Instead of complaining all the time, please Zambians get creative, get aggressive and start turning the lack into luck!

Your HH and your Nawaki will never win elections in Zambia. Your insults are helping to alleniate them.

Come 2016 Lungu is winning again and you will be gnashing your teeth again and again. Lungu cannot be blamed for 50 years of misrule or whatever you want to call it. It is also a fallacy to believe that Nawaki and HH will change things for the better in 9 months which is the time that Lungu has been in office and condemned for all the ills experienced in Zambia. We serve a fair and just God who judges our motives not deeds or words. May he deliver you of hatred, malice and envy.

Whether HH or Nawakwi travel will be as it is, necessitated by our need to be part of the global village so lets us not lie unashamedly as though Zambians are children who cannot see the “green” fangs from Nawakwi and HH.

The issue with Nawakwi is not low sugar, but envy and jealousy. Does any normal person believe Nawakwi cares about Lungu’s death? She would in fact dance if she heard he has died. What a hypocrite.
Lungu is working as per his terms of reference. He meets all Ministers every week. Gets reports and directs them on what they should do. Do you want him to replace all Ministers and do the work himself? It looks like Nawakwi is slowly running mad. May be it is because we hear the man he grabbed from another woman has now left her too. Why is the vice president of FDD and the only FDD MP talking? Possibly he knows she is just a noise maker who will never make it to Statehouse. She is now beginning to irritate like a mosquito in our ears. The more you attack innocent people, the more we loose respect for you if at all you still have any remaining. As things stand, even HH is far better than you.

Nawakwi has no idea what presidency really entails. It’s a restless job and what our president is doing is just about right. He has not lost touch with developments within his country. Things are happening in spite of his busy schedule. Nawakwi should give ECL a chance and not just talk nonsense. I believe his medical condition is well taken care of.

@Mwaala, you are very right. This lady has never said anything good about ECL. She is not welcome to portray a picture of care and concern for the president this time…that’s actually amounting to treachery and total hypocrisy. She is jealousy and even thinks she can win the 2016 elections. Far from it!! Our prayer is that the current humble, intelligent and hard and smart working president continues in power beyond 2016.
