Cabinet Approves Review To ZESCO Bulk Supply Tariffs

Cabinet has approved the review of bulk supply agreements signed between Zesco Limited and bulk customers to allow for constant adjustments of electricity tariffs similar to how residential and other customers are adjusted.

This follows its 16th Special Meeting of Cabinet held on Thursday the 13th of August this week.

In statement made available to Qfm News Acting Chief government spokesperson Vincent Mwale says the measure is intended to ensure that mining companies remain viable with the view to boosting economic growth in the country.

Mr. Mwale who is also Youth and Sport Minister has explained that approved review may have to be achieved by enacting appropriate legislation.

He states that given the fact that copper prices were relatively low on the global market at US$2,000 per tone compared to the current prices of US$5,000 per ton, government is not in the position to continue offering incentives.

Mr Mwale states that this is especially that currently investments in power generation projects are not moving because investors cannot get a good return on their investments.

He has disclosed that to this effect Cabinet has directed Zesco to immediately migrate to cost-eflective electricity tariffs as a way of speeding up power project development.

How Christianity Was Used To Brainwash Africans Into Submission

Letter from King Leopold II of Belgium to Colonial Missionaries, 1883

“Reverends, Fathers and Dear Compatriots: The task that is given to fulfill is very delicate and requires much tact. You will go certainly to evangelize, but your evangelization must inspire above all Belgium interests. Your principal objective in our mission in the Congo is never to teach the ‘niggas’ to know God, this they know already. They speak and submit to a Mungu, one Nzambi, one Nzakomba, and what else I d o n ’t know. They know that to kill, to sleep with someone else’s wife, to lie and to insult is bad. Have courage to admit it; you are not going to teach them what they know already. Your essential role is to facilitate the task of administrators and industrials, which means you will go to interpret the gospel in the way it will be the best to protect your interests in that part of the world. For these things, you have to keep watch on disinteresting our savages from the richness that is plenty [in their underground. To avoid that, they get interested in it, and make you murderous] competition and dream one day to overthrow you.
Your knowledge of the gospel will allow you to find texts ordering, and encouraging your followers to love poverty, like “Happier are the poor because they will inherit the heaven” and, “It’s very difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of God.” You have to detach from them and make them disrespect everything which gives courage to affront us.
Evangelize the ‘niggas’ so that they stay forever in submission to the white colonialists, so they never revolt against the restraints they are undergoing. Recite every day-“Happy are those who are weeping because the kingdom of God is for them.”

Convert always the blacks by using the whip. Keep their women in nine months of submission to work freely for us. Force them to pay you in sign of recognition-goats, chicken or eggs-every time you visit their villages. And make sure that niggers never become rich. Sing every day that it’s impossible for the rich to enter heaven. Make them pay tax each week at Sunday mass. Use the money supposed for the poor, to build flourishing business centers. Institute a confessional system, which allows you to be good detectives denouncing any black that has a different consciousness contrary to that of the decision-maker. Teach the niggas to forget their heroes and to adore only ours. Never present a chair to a black that comes to visit you.

let’s help our industries by reducing or removing domestic from ZESCO. ZESCO start giving solar pannels to civil servants on loan and those who can afford. if people can be given pannels that can power fridges and lighting it will help. charging industries heavily will create other problems like pipo losing jobs

thats pf. how ever tumfweko didn’t publish the story in full. from my understanding it is to mitigate challenges the poor are facing. eg those that use up to 500 units will now fall in the previous or current 1 unit to 100 units bracket. if you use more than 500 units then you pay more per unit. however it is catastrophic for industry growth

What assurance is there that your party can perform better than Pf? Lets just make PF to do the right thing. Are you saying you change your father when he fails to do the right thing?

The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. Proverbs 21:31………political parties may participate in an election but God decides who carries the day. Be wise!!
