Cosmo Mumba: Politicians Should Stop Preaching Politics In Churches

NRP1-624x426Nation Revolution Party (NRP) president Cosmo Mumba has called on church mother bodies to stop their affiliates from inviting politicians to preach politics in churches.
Dr Mumba told a press briefing on Tuesday that church mother bodies should draft a policy to stop their affiliates from allowing politics in churches.
He said churches should not take part in active politics.
“It’s unfortunate that clergymen are preaching politics in churches instead of sharing the word of God,” Dr Mumba said.
He said churches have become avenues for campaign forums, especially during elections.
Dr Mumba said church mother bodies should be active in monitoring how their affiliates are operating in communities and shut those pushing for political party interests

This is sense. We should not allow politics in church. The church is a body of Christ.

All politicians are inspired by the church, no wonder they are always going back to church to seek the sympathy of their congregations.

How do you separate people’s lives from politics? The church tells the truth and that is what is hurting cosmo mumba, Its nothing but the truth. When RB was president, there was nothing wrong with the church commenting on politics, but now that PF are now in control, it is wrong! The church cannot stop preaching anything affecting people’s lives negatively. Cosmo should just tell his masters to change for the better because the church will never compromise on God. And once the church comes into politic, you as a party should know that your end is near!

These are the things our police should be investigating.A Doctor of what indeed? This could be fraud and we have sat back and not bothered to ask ourselves ‘Doctor of what’.Which institution conferred on this dumbhead a doctoral degree? Is it Copperstone University? Please tell us so that we do not make the mistake of sending our children there.
