The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia (ISCZ) says Zambians should be patient and wait for 2016 to see if the 500,000 jobs promised by President Edgar Lungu will be created.
Council President Suzyo Zimba says Zambians should learn to be patient instead of criticizing anyhow.
He says it is possible to create 500,000 jobs by 2016 if only the government is serious and consistent.
Mr. Zimba says it obvious that the President knows what he is doing by promising to create 500,000 jobs by the end of 2016, especially that he will be accountable.
He states that Zambians should do in the meantime is to be patient and help create the promised half a million jobs.
Mr. Zimba has further encouraged President Lungu not to be discouraged by those arguing that it is not possible to create such a number of jobs in the stated period of time.
