Kambwili: HH Is Misleading Zambians
Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services Chishimba Kambwili says United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema is bent on misleading Zambians in his attacks on President Lungu’s administration by peddling falsehoods.
And Mr Kambwili says it is impossible for MMD to give back Zamtel to LAPGreen of Libya because the former ruling party will never again form Government.
Speaking when he featured on a special interview on Sun FM in Ndola on Sunday night, the minister said Mr Hichilema is up to no good and cannot be entrusted with running the affairs of the country.
“But the people of Zambia are above such kind of political scenarios and are able to differentiate matters. He is aimed at misleading a few individuals,” Mr Kambwili said.
He added: “Please try and analyse what some of these opposition leaders say, you will realise that they are just politicking.”
Mr Kambwili, who is chief government spokesperson, said the opposition is envious of the development projects that the Patriotic Front (PF) administration has undertaken since assuming power four years ago.
The minister also dismissed claims by the UPND that the PF Government has failed to implement the Link Zambia 8,000 road project.
“For someone to go and say that the PF has failed to implement the Link Zambia 8,000 project is an excellent lie,” Mr Kambwili said.
He said it is unreasonable for the opposition to judge the PF’s performance in just a period of four years.
“Because nobody, no country in the world has developed in four years, what the PF is doing is correcting the wrongs that have been done in the past in order for us to build this country,” Mr Kambwili said.

Kayula, ur right. HH has never been a Ward Councillor, not even an MP, not even a Minister etc. I thought the likes of Sakwiba Sikota, Patrick Chisanga, Bob Sichinga etc etc would replace Mazoka. The day he was made UPND president in 2006, that is when I learnt that there was such a person in UPND. HE WANTS TO CLIMB THE TREE FROM THE TOP.

Let me put it this way, do you need to be a security guard to be general manager? This is the level of thinking that is causing stunted social growth in Zambia. Unfortunately, it will never change.

Name one policy and development idea experienced Dora, Liato , Mulongoti, Kambwili, Chama etc have brought to mother Zambia? Experience in Zambian political leadership does not necessarily mean fail proof and above par governance. It just means someone knows how to boast and call names and steals. I would rather get someone who is not tainted with Zambian political leadership. New blood is needed.

Hu bazambia! KK had several positions in his paties then prime minister and finally president. Chiluba worked in patastatal companies, unionist official later on ZCTU leader then president. Now HH its only selling our companies,busines then president of UPND and fighting to be republican president. Govt is different from making money thats why mosses and jesus were first sent to school

Zambia is a country for all of us, whether in political scene before or not.
If you look at the current president, it is not because he was in the system for him to be president? but because he was to become the president of the country one day that is how he is today a president.
HH can or cannot matters less, what matters was he called to be the president of this country. it could be someone who is currently in diaspora.
My concern to you all is: Are you only seeing HH in a scene or there other people in this country that can even bring good policies.
Let me launch my observation, I know HH is a good guy and can become a good leader of this country. one day I went to my village to campaign for him without him knowing,
I formed about 15 football clubs in the area, sponsored them for sometime then I decided to bring the names of the clubs to the secretariat, when I reached there I met guys at the get and explained to them, they wanted me to pay them K1000 for me to have to be picked for MP in the area where I already set up groupings and also to meet HH.

Its simple, if someone knows how to run very successful businesses and generate income and has solutions to all that is wrong in our country, that’s all we need in Zambia. Fresh thinking, new blood. If Changwa who has only been there for 7 months is not performing you think HH will come and perform who has already started giving us ultimatum of 5 to 15 years before we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Get real you guys you better stick to Lungu who is trying by all means to turn the economy round and find solutions how to create employment for the youths and change things for women.

In the article I didn’t get informed of how HH is misleading Zambians..the Kwacha,university closures,fuel prices,loadshedding,unemployment raise etc are evident vices enough to say the PF has failed.However because most Zambians are shallow in thought,education and mind they are comfortable with a raise in poverty.Lastly because we enjoy politics of political parties we smile @ poverty!

People like Kayula annoy me. This guy is very selfish to the core. Kayula do you go to compounds and see how our grand mothers are suffering? A lady in her 70z selling fried shaba at 5ngwe. Can such a woman manage to buy a bag of m. meal at k70.00? they buy Pamelas which when converted to a 25kg bag, the poor woman would have spent k120.00 on 25kg mmeal. And this kayula and kambwili are rating pf as best performers, my God even RB tried by far better than these panga family.

a few days ago i read kambwili and mmdpf saying zambia isn’t the only country facing loadsheding but entire region even south Africa. Ignorant people and failures who always find it okay not to send his kids to school because even the neighbor is failing. I live in KZN KwaZulu Natal and loadsheding the entire south Africa is only 110minutes(1hr50minutes). On top f that the south Africa government are bringing on 800mgw on the stream. Blame games ba mmdpf. Tinazifyenga apa peve.
