A 37-year old man of Lusaka has died after a backhoe loader he was trying to repair rolled over him, Lusaka Province commissioner of police Charity Katanga has said.
Ms Katanga said in an interview yesterday that Aaron Musangu, a machine operator of Chilulu township, died at Levy Mwanawasa General Hospital.
Ms Katanga said the incident happened on Thursday around 10:10 hours in Chudleigh.
She said Mr Musangu went under the vehicle to check on a mechanical problem and the machine moved and rolled over him. Mr Musangu was taken to the hospital, where he died around 15:00 hours.

We in the upnd pass our sincere condolences to the family of this man. Very sad day for the country. However, it is even more saddening that this man couldnt be saved at the hospital. Being on low pay means that the staff are not motivated. the pf government has failed to ensure effective medical facilities.

MHSRIEP! Even the employers were supposed to provide physical supervision to the departed gentleman, because being a mechanic does not mean he had the ability to work unsupervised, issues of costs are involved here, hence the choice of labor, BARLOW WORLD could have been engaged. Cheap is expensive.
