Kambwili Canes UPND
Chief Government spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili has taken a swipe at the opposition UPND for condemning the creation and re-alignment of five new Ministries by President Edgar Lungu.
Mr Kambwili is further disappointed and angered by remarks attributed to the UPND that has accused President Lungu of allegedly running a bloated Government.
Mr Kambwili who is also Information and Broadcasting Services Minister said contrary to the remarks attributed to the opposition party, it is the UPND that is inconsistent and does not seem to have a clear manifesto and agenda for Zambia.
He wonders why the UPND could assert that the PF is running a bloated Government when it is the UPND that supports the creation of Provincial assemblies, appointment of Ministers outside Cabinet and increase in the number of Members of Parliament from the
Current 158 to 270.
Mr Kambwili has urged well-meaning Zambians to stop listening to the rantings and assertions of UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema saying the later is inconsistent and does not mean well for the country.
Mr Kambwili said it is shocking and surprising that the UPND could condemn the creation of new Ministries when in essence, it is the UPND manifesto that supports the creation of a number of quasi-institutions .
The Chief Government spokesperson has since urged UPND leaders to thoroughly analyse issues in a mature and impartial manner before making unwarranted comments and attacks.

Kambwili you are dull. Increasing ministries at central government level will not achieve anything . However when you consider decentralisation,which is what the upnd will introduce ,it works out cheaper in the long run than just increasing positions at ministerial level. Please beware that upnd plans for decentralised provincial systems are subject to funding availability when we take over. Vote upnd

It will take time for UPND to rule this country. This is because of their behavior in certain issues. UPND thinks it can own all Zambians by using their scrupulous funds that is being generated by selfish leaders.

Problem is that UPND is driven by emotional reaction.Creating the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock is just on target.Thisis because the former Ministry (MAL) was too big rendering it inefficiently managed.If UPND is uncomfortable with it,then you will never rule this country and should therefore start thinking of other options than ruling this government

Efficiency is not achieved in splitting ministries but good management. Zambia with the kind of population has just too many ministries which will continue to be ineffective and grossly inefficient due to lack of professionalism at all levels and poor attitude by civil service managers. What functional difference will be in Lungu’s newly created Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock to RB’s Ministry of Veterinary and Livestock Development (Bradford Machila) which later got scrapped? Any lessons learnt or are new management structures to be put in place other than just shifting departments.

Im a upnd supporter,yet my campaign is clean and without insults. My fellow upnds let’s just tell the people what we will do in the event that we formed gvmnt. Its true our leader can’t explain where and how he made his money. Almost on all interview platforms he doges questions to do with how he made his money.

Since you call us ba pf fools, why do you vote for us? Are all those supporting us fools?
We are not fools, the economy has just failed bcoz of yo insults.
But there are some truths in what you say at times. We have just failed on loadshedding and the kwacha. However, we still have chance to fix the economy. The problem we have in pf is Chikwanda and Chimbwili. These men are very dull and difficult to control.
Upnd just organise propery and prepare for insults after 2016 when you also fail to run govt.
