Lungu Appoints Dora Siliya As Minister Of Higher Education?
President Lungu is set to appoint Petauke Central Parliamentarian as new Minister of higher Education, reports Kopalatimes.
Micheal Kaingu who until Friday last week was Minister of Education remains as Minister incharge of general Education.
President Lungu on Friday last week split the Ministry of Education into two; Ministry of General Education and Ministry of Higher Education.

Dora was a journalist before getting into politics, so she can be appointed as Minister of any Ministry because journalism covers a lot of topics. What about the case in the UPND where an uneducated wife-battering and unmannered Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) has been made UPND Vice President, leaving the old members? Do not condemn everything the PF is doing. Its payback time, RB used millions to hire choopers for Edgar’s campaign and funding, introduced Edgar to Nigeria oil barons for finance, that wasnt for FREE. @ Paul Phiri just concentrate on organising your UPND. Why are you so worked up on the appointment of Dora(that is if its true) if she is not a factor. You can not complain about the constitution of a club you are not a member of. UPND guys if Dora is such a bad person as you claim, you should be celebrating as that will work in your favour, but of course you know it wont.

And this is one of the reasons this has to be in the new constitution. The number of ministries must be set to avoid job creation. Every President has been creating new ministries. A poor country doesn’t need that. Take for example UK population 63 million only 19 ministers, Holland 16 million people with 12 ministers, Italy 61million people with 13 ministers and Germany with 82 million people with 15 ministers. And in Zambia with a population of 12 million, we have 26 ministers and their deputies. In some cases two. Let the new constitution state how many ministries so no one can change it. 12 would be better.
