PF Mole Exposed: Brian Hapunda Caught Leaking State Secrets To UPND Online Paper Watchdog
An audio recording of former Lusaka UPND youth chairperson Brian Hapunda in which he is on phone conversation leaking classified information to a Watchdog journalist has gone viral on social media.
Hapunda who was sponsored by UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema at the University of Zambia before he was expelled for being in possession of leaked exam papers, disclosed to the Watchdog journalist about President Edgar Lungu’s plans to fire Kaizer Zulu, State House Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Chilubanama and Party Secretary General Davies Chama.
In the audio, Hapunda is emphasising to the journalist that he should forward the information to Loyd Himambo, the editor of the UPND online newspaper the Watchdog.
“So comrade make sure you hammer and forward to bena Loyd. The boss is very upset with Chama, Kaizer and Chilubanama, ” said Hapunda

JJB i used to be PF pre sata era. I campaigned hard for sata to win but was very disappointed with some of his leadership styles. I decided to leave and after lungu was illegally voted in, i was glad I have left earlier.

It is very embarrasing and saddening reading all the tribal remarks against tongas by the pf. It is very weird that the PF are the first to accuse upnd of being tribal and yet here you have a situation whereby they are tribally attacking their own pf member. There is no audio nor any measurable truth in this….logical question to be asked by author is…who told this hapunda guy this info? Is he still the communications man? Is it possible that some people within state house are giving him info, why not blame then then?? I find it difficult to believe that most of us are unable to realise how serious this issue is. It hinges on national security, economic development and all the good things that every Zambian desires. Any person who leaks security documents, for whatever reason (unless otherwise), is an enemy of all Zambians. This problem of leaking documents should not be analysed on the basis of political inclinations, aspirations, tribal linings or temperaments. It is so serious that we should tackle it by bringing all those involved to book. Once we allow it to grow, all of us will suffer in one way or another. Do not fool yourselves that, if perpetuated, it will not affect future political parties in power.

I would have a problem if Hapunda told lies but what he said is the truth. Problem Ba Zambia hypocrisy. Some of you claim to be Christians yet you hate a person for telling the truth. It’s not Hapunda who commanded EL to eject Kaiser from the plane. Kaiser shot at Kavindele’s on his own and the President didn’t like it. All Hapunda did was to tell the truth of what happened and no matter what, such news could never have been a secret for ever. The truth will always come out.
