Indo-Zambia Sues Singer Kachanana Over Debt
INDO-ZAMBIA Bank has sued singer Kachanana Simate in the Lusaka High Court over a K50,000 loan debt.
According to a statement of claim filed in court, Kachanana was awarded a loan facility in which it was agreed that she pays within a short period of time.
The bank stated that several demands to make the singer pay the debt have been made but that to date, she has failed to honour the agreement.
“The plaintiff claims the sum of K53, 934.22 and interest plus cost thereon until full payment or an order to repossess Kachanana’s property anywhere here in Zambia and sell the same and recover the amount due. If there will be any change, the same change will be paid in court’s account for her to collect from,” the bank added.
The bank is also seeking any other relief that the court might deem fit.

Tumfweko editor likes matako too much, i thought this article has been buried only to resurface on top again, can some legal minded fellows help me understand what whitemail, no blackmail is all about, just a few days ago at the height of by elections campaigns, she accussed GBM’s son for assault,of late musicians are being used by politicians like door rugs, was she expecting someone to fall that and worry about his political image and make quick monetary compensation, for her to clear her debt.

While HH was politicking that food security was threatened and simple traders thought of taking maize grain to Kasumbalesa, I researched for market in Lubumbashi and Lwanda.
