Mbesuma Is An Asset – Aces

mbesuma n felixMPUMALANGA Black Aces technical advisor Jacob Sakala says Collins Mbesuma is an asset to the club.

Sakala, who was commenting on the Zambian international’s recent scoring prowess, said the former Orlando Pirates striker was not only highly rated at his club, but also throughout South Africa.

He said Mbesuma’s good start of the season had drawn the attention of other clubs.
Sakala, however, explained that the player was not for sale but instead see his contract extended.

“Mbesuma is a very big asset to us (Black Aces), he is doing very well, he is a very big asset to the team. We value him so high, so many clubs want him now but we told them that we are not selling him. He is still on a contract. It comes to an end in June but we will extend it to another three years,” said Sakala.

Nicknamed the Hurricane or Ntofontofo, Mbesuma has netted five goals in six league games.

On Sunday, the striker scored a brace in Aces’ 4-1 win over Maritzburg United.

Last week he again led his side to victory, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win against Golden Arrows.

The Zambian international was also on target in his team’s 1-all draw against former club Pirates.

And Mbesuma’s agent Mike Makaab said he was proud of him.

“This is the Mbesuma I remember when we placed him in the EPL at Portsmouth. Well done, Collins. We are proud of you,” said Makaab.

The only impediment to Mbesuma’s career is his weight. I think he has failed to control his body hence failing to run.
Otherwise without weight he is unstoppable
