Kavindele Jr Apologises OVER Kaizer Case
Enoch Kavindele junior says he has reconciled with President Lungu’s special advisor for politics Kaizer Zulu and regretted the scuffle between them that resulted in Mr Zulu firing a gun.
In a statement, Mr Kavindele apologised to President Lungu and the people of Zambia for the embarrassment that his altercation with Mr Zulu has caused.
“I apologise most sincerely for the embarrassment caused to his Excellency the President Lungu; our fellow citizens, families and friends,” he said.
Mr Kavindele commended the Zambia Police Service for their efficiency and professionalism in handling the matter.
He said that for the sake of peace and goodwill, he has withdrawn the complaint against Mr Zulu.
And Governance Activist Maurice Malambo commended Mr Kavindele Jr for withdrawing the criminal complaints against Mr Zulu.
Mr Malambo said President Lungu demonstrated good integrity and accountability by allowing the police to freely interrogate and arrest his advisor.
“I want to reiterate and advise all State House officials to conduct themselves above board as some people wanted to use this incident as an opportunity to attack President Lungu, who has in this case demonstrated integrity,” he said.
Mr Malambo said the shooting incident was highly unfortunate and citizens must at all times refrain from such conduct.
Meanwhile, Lusaka Province police commissioner Charity Katanga said in an interview that Mr Kavindele and his brother wrote to the officer-in-charge at Woodlands Police Station informing him that they had reconciled with Mr Zulu.
Ms Katanga said the case had been withdrawn informally, though the process of formal withdrawal had not been exhauste

What I would like to know is this: are we allowed to fire arms at each other in any public place as long as we make up and go home and sing “Kumbaya my Lord” together? In that case let me get my Remington with a friend and make a show at Levy Park- I swear if a police man attempts to arrest me I will shoot his police cap off…then pay him money to get off…then do it again- but in Kitwe with the Jerabos (that may be more fun)…Gun culture is sanctioned by the highest office in the land- Thumbs up KZ and thanks for it spineless Kavindeles- you are truly useless.

Am confused,why is jr apologising?has he been paid or is he being threatened?what are we being told here,we can shot at each other in public during dinner and as long as we reconcile we are okay with the law.wait until my friends here the jerabos hear about this new arrangement.they ll be shooting people in hospitals during visiting hour and reconcile and shoot again,what fun!!!
