PF’s Winning Of 2016 Polls Will Depend On How It Deals With Economic Woes – Simuusa

Patriotic Front Nchanga Member of Parliament Wylbur Simuusa says the ruling party’s chances of winning the 2016 elections will depend on how it deals with the current economic challenges facing the country.

In an interview with Qfm News, Mr. Simuusa has cited the power deficit and the volatility of the Kwacha as some of the issues which the PF must deal with.

Mr. Simuusa notes that the PF government is in control as far as infrastructure development is concerned, but that it also needs to start listening to the people.

He says this means that the government has to adopt a less-talk-and-more-action approach to dealing with challenges that the country is currently going through.

Mr Simuusa has also noted the need for the PF to transform itself from being a draconian government to one with a human face which explains issues to the people.

He thinks that in this way the PF government will be showing to people that it understands what they are going through and is doing something to improve the situation.

He states that the foundation upon which PF was founded gives the party a higher chance of bouncing back to power in 2016.

Mr. Simuusa adds that the PF already has an advantage to win the 2016 general election because it is the party in government.

Atleast simusa is honest with himself. He can see that things are bad and that the zambian people will be judging pf on its performance. He can see that the upnd as thingd stand is the best alternative.

Yes sir this is what I have been saying always, how do you have a leader who hates talking to his people? How do people know your plans if you avoid debates, press conferences, TV national announcement, media briefing. Zambians you who voted for this man, you blundered Edgar knows his weakness which he hides under a wrap of “humbleness” yet fears reality and being put on a Question & Answer spot. In short, he crooked you.

judge joe biden.i for one wud not listen to Simusa’s advice koz he has owez supported the goverment till he was dropped.this is the man hu has failed to develop his constituency in Chingola.Dr Simusa and Dr Katema are the worst MPS in Zambia.chingola despite hosting the largest copper mine in Zambia, luks like a village.we have the worst roads on the copperbelt and thats why Dr Simusa was booed wen he came to campaign for Lungu with Guy Scott in january.i attended a fundraising dinner last friday were simusa was guest of honour and imediately he beagn to speak, pipo started leaving.am suprised he has become an asset fro UPND.this man cost PF in chingola as they won with a narrow margin as most pipo boycotted the elections.

I was having a discussion with my Son on Monday this week asking him why Hon Wilbur Simuusa was the most shuffled Minister by our Late Beloved President Michael Sata. He was appointed Minister of Mines, moved to Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and I think Lands and I think another Ministry. Why???? I am just asking…..

Hi Joe Bidden! He just shrugged his shoulders and said for Mines, he went in there forcefull with Mineral Windfall Tax! The rest he had no idea. Do you have an idea? I find it rather amusing that he is in PF and talking about Draconian modus operandi! Members of Parliament represent the people in their constituency to explain. Govt policies, performance, challenges, economic indicators, implementations, etc one on one and also hear from the electorate and report back, is he only realising now that he is out of Govt that it is draconian? I think he has already crossed Parties and should not wait for 2016. Kikikiki

My view on why some Ministers/ or Snr Govt officials get too many reshuffles, its in two fold: Its either that Minister is lamentably inefficient to the extent of the President finding ‘what will suit’ this person or he is very good at his job and the leader what him/her to go and ‘revive’ other ministries too. So Mr Simuusa’s case maybe he wasnt just up to the jobs. About being MP and saying what he did, normally as you said these people might say what he’s hearing in his constituency or friends – thats a red flag for PF. I end here.

My prayer is that in fact let PF win in 2016 so that they continue teaching PF blind supporters a lesson. Besides PF should kolopa (clean-up) the mess they have created in the country like kaloba, job losses, load shedding, price hikes of all commodities. PF should teach my relatives and friends who voted for them against my advice a good lesson that not all that glitters is gold. And now they are phoning me for monetary assistance when they so much believed in the more money in their pockets, more jobs promises. I told them Sata did not own many companies to employ you all within 90 days but went ahead and voted for him and PF even waking me up at night to force me to congratulate them on their winning.

Simuusa is not being honest with himself. He is actually bitter. He is one of the worst performing MPs. Why has he not used the same approach of ‘less talk more action’ in his own Nchanga Constituency. His constituency is pathetic. Remember not long ago he was minister of agriculture and the ministry came to its knees. Like Mwanawasa used to say ‘Zambians forget very fast.’

Using the current Zesco problem as a campaign weapon is stupid. Tanzania which requires 800MW plus can only generate 105MW due to low water. In fact some power stations have been completely switched off

Tell us reasonable things why we should support pf despite current challenges.
You are just arrogant for nothing.
    Limbi ni dobo?
Pf is already in power, the question is should they continue with their incompetence? They are failing to articulate issues affecting Zambia.
The president or responsible ministers are failing to out in the open and address the nation on what is happening and what they want to do. They just say things are ok, there is no problem.
    Is it true?
    Where are the election promises?
pf is being judged on 2011 election promises and their incompetence.

    Breaking news! Southern Province
Seventhday Adventist Church peddling lies causing fear about the day of fasting and prayers. They are texting each other that President Lungu met Obama and
Pope and signed the Sunday Law wich Pres Lungu wishes to effect on 18/10/15.
They are saying the choice of 18 symbolises the number of the beast mentioned in the Bible – Revelation 13. To them 18 means 666. They are saying Pres Lungu wants to punish the SDAs..
These people are villagers and very dull.
Including govt workers attending the same church are very dull and the forefront of misleading the uneducated people.
The informers are said to be in Mazabuka.
Anybody wishing to know more contact or phone any friend in Southern Province.
The govt must find out and correct panicking dull people.
What is your say fellow Zambians?
The President means well here but this evil church is twisting things just to prop up its member in the presidential race.
Some of us are only interested in change of the economic affaires not necessarily the govt. It is things that need change.
Upnd must address this situation this panick among its majority members.
And hh being an elder of this lost church must issue a statement to calm them.
Let us discuss here. We more from others now. Tell us what you know about this.

There are people saying his behaviour in pf has destroyed development.
Should people suffer bcos of Simuusa when they all voted for pf?
If nothing happens there, it is the pf denying them development. Iam sure the pf is doing something there.
Simuusa’s comment is a wake up call to his pf govt.
