The Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- says it is still interested in appealing against the acquittal of Former president, Rupiah Banda.

ACC Spokesperson Timothy Moono says the Commission has already submitted their opinion on the matter to the National Prosecution Authority and is still awaiting the response.

He also says investigations into Football Association of Zambia -FAZ president, Kalusha Bwalya’s alleged 80 thousand US dollars bribery case has advanced.

Mr. Moono said the ACC is currently working with international organisations and investigating bodies on the matter.

He said other prominent cases that are still under investigations are for Mumbwa Member of Parliament, Brian Chituwo and former Zambia Railways boss, Muyenga Attanga

Real time wasters even when you know very well that the case is a non starter and will only waste tax payers money. Live the big man alone he was cleared by the courts of law. Lets get back to the culture of respecting elder statesmen more so that he was cleared by the courts of law, the country has no mentors to inspire the young generation all they see is hate, envy, tribalism etc

@ Chanda-Rupiah has to earn his respect.Respect is earned. For now Rupiah is a corrupt shameless sangwapo president. He’s no longer a statesman. He’s an embarrasement to the former presidents and Zambian pipo.He supported Lungu purely on Wako ni Wako nonsense and have his corruption case go no where under Lungu’s weak Leadership.

If this guys are sincere in their investigations why did they allow Edgar to free Him (RB). This guys just try to show us that they are serious in fighting corruption all the directives come direct from Edgar. This is fabrication, There are two things here. Its either Moono I trying to Mock us or some kind of formality.

You chaps you are talking about wasting resources yet your president spent 3.7Million Kwacha on a single trip entertaining his cronies and musicians. RB is a criminal, if he wont be dealt with under PF we will sort him out next year.

How many years did it take Sata to be president? Did he even live to enjoy it? Nope! Do me a favour follow the US presidential race and see how many old people still fighting to become US president after trying many years, so with that mentality thats why PF need to be taught a lesson.

Your God the “ENCONOMIST” is the architect of this misery the Zambians are going through, he benefited massively from undervaluing companies to foreign investors and got himself shares in a number of companies. Very selfish people no shame at all.

if you guys intend to sort out RB when you come to power(if you ever will) that’s your business, so I see no reason why you should be informing us of your plans to fix him early. Concentrate on your campaigns and things will follow. you are now making tunfweko boring no wonder most guys have stopped contributing to the debates, same issues everyday.

Stop fixing rb. He survived it.
What evidence do you have that you failed to produce all the years he was attending court cases.
Some people are evil and wishes to kill others over straightforward things.
These guys must be corrupt. They want rb ukubalishamo.
It would be a disgrace if ecl fails to protect rb. The man is aged. Leave him alone.
These guys need serious prayers on 18/10/15.
Mulekwatako uluse. RB is our father.
