Kaseba Remembers SATA One Year On ‘I cry my silent tears hoping that it is just a bad dream’

FORMER First Lady Christine Kaseba has eulogised her late husband President Michael Sata, who died a year ago today in a message to mark the first anniversary since his death.
In the remembrance message, Dr Kaseba, who dotingly referred to the late head of State as “Bashi Chilufya” or “Ba Mikaeli”, has also thanked God for President Sata’s life, saying it touched many souls in different ways.
“We thank God for giving you to us. Everyday is a constant reminder of the good and bad times we went through, the loving and sharing, the giving and caring. I miss your jokes and Bemba sayings. With fond memories, I remember how we stood together facing those difficult situations till we conquered. Oh how I miss my friend and confidante,” she reminisced.
She also remembered one of Mr Sata’s favourite Bible quotes – Luke 23: 28, which reads: “Weep not for me but for yourselves and your children.”
Dr Kaseba said the scripture has come to pass that she and the children have been left to cry for themselves.
“It has been a painful year, full of hardships, trials, tears and sorrows. I search for you and find you not, wake up every morning reaching out for you but the harsh reality of your permanent absence haunts me and I cry my silent tears hoping that it is just a bad dream and one day I will see your face,” she reflected in part.
She thanked numerous friends and family that have supported the family throughout the year, saying the support and care have been a source of strength and hope.
“Through it all, I have learnt to trust in Jesus and I have been amazed at what faith in God could do,” said Dr Kaseba.

Ati… prayers of reconciliation. This is one evil man who all of a sudden its all religious in past 3 weeks. Founding PF Members are still banished to the peripherals of earth yet he thinks he can fool Zambians with reconciliation prayer stunts. Why didnt he first reconcile with his own PF Founding Members if he was genuine about it? Secondly, for using Sata’s vision has he personally acknowledged and payed homage to Dr Kaseba on Sata’s death 1st year anniversary? Talk about hypocrisy in capitals.

Wake up you sleepy Zambians. For all the RIP I can wish Micheal Sata, I can only say he was a selfish and useless leader. He was a very sick man for a very long time but he kept acting out he was in good health. Why else didn’t he choose someone to succeed him? Because he thought he would live forever(unfortunately a trend with most African leaders). Live forever indeed. Even advanced private medical treatment in England didn’t save him. He just left a hefty medical bill for the government. Useless and selfish to the core!
