Pilato And Lesson Drawn

Pilato..By Gideon Mumbi Zulu

As a person who believes in justice for all, I was delighted to hear Pilato give his side of the story. Infact, to many it was a relief to discover the lady in question was not Pilatos wife.

In his statement which had a decorum of empty philosophy, Pilato paused a question he should have raised a long time ago. Pilato asks : What happens when a good person is involved in something shameful and a picture is taken?

This is a legitimate question, only a little late . Im Tempted to rephrase the question : What happens when a good leader decides to take his favourite alcoholic drink and a picture is taken? Does he become a drunkard. ?

Karma knows everyones address. Pilato dedicated his life to pouring scourn on president Lungu without realising the hurt he was causing to those deer to the president. Apart from been a president, president Lungu is a father to someone and a lover to someone. He is a friend to
Someone. The lesson is lets learn to live and let live.we are not perfect so lets maintain mutual respect.

We understand you took an EASY CHOICE when your pay masters instructed you to insult an elected leader of a sovereign nation. You chose unwisely. I say we understand because hunger could have led you to such low levels of existence

The wind does not blow without cause.

God bless you all..Especially Pilato

You is a PFOOL, Gideon zulu, first in trying to please your pay masters, instead of rephrasing the question, you have just reenacted the all shameful episode about the jemason time, and and have seemingly made this little sexecapade drama look like some fool was trying to set up pilato, by trying to bring his name into disrepute, can people go that far really? Fortunately it turned out what ever you fools had planned against him turned out to be nothing but a hoax, PILATO man just watch people that surround you next they might just plant something on you to fix you, this the only lesson PILATO should learn, not your stupid lesson Gideon zulu not everyone is happy, some people get hurt when truth is told. May God deliver all of you, especially Gideon zulu.

this article is excellent. of course nitwits like you can not understand anything after all were you not failing exams despite having good teachers? Pilato can not call a person drinking beer derogatory names and call a person being f@cked by everyone a good person. he must be a f0ool! By the way even when pilato says he does not opt for the easy way out he is bluffing. what he did giving support to that harlot is an easy way out. he knows that if he condemns her azaulula!

Even if he is married to her it still doesn’t make sense to draw him into such nonsense, i mean how many men are forever bodyguards to their wives? Right now some of you idiots they are panel beating them on your behalf on office tables, only difference there are no cameras there, just preach more faithfulness in your marriages. By the way whoever was trying to scheme up that against pilato, just hit a wrong tree, God is great.

The only lesson I have picked from this article is that if you speak against the authorities, they can in turn do something to hurt you. This whole episode was stage managed even the posting of those photos was deliberate so as to hurt Pilato. The authorities expect all of us to be yes bwana even when things are not all right. If our forefathers acted in this manner, we would not have attained the independence we are enjoying today, worst still we would still be at the mess of KK. I wonder if those guys in the pictures are ever going to be arrested as the police are only talking about looking for Pilato’s “wife” and no mention of the men.

Pilato and his singing…really an artist sings/paints/mimics society’s inadequacies and tries to gently spice up the shortcomings by satire in negative/positive projections.Imagine the cartoonists that depict their characters in a communicating way to carry the message.Much of the music composed is on love and not critically informative and revealing.Let’s not kill the talent in this diverse hypocritical era !!!

Whats crazy about this is that we live in a Democracy. In which case it means that the President is put in power by the people, for the people, and from the people.

This essentially means that the general population are his employers and if someone among us does not feel satisfied with the level of leadership, it is his right to let it be known.

The African idea of leadership worship and infallibility does not belong in politics. We reserved those ideologies for chiefs and kings who are in power by virtue of birthrite or elderly counsel selection, and our elders by virtue of their experience. These things do not apply to political men and women, elected to serve the population.

I am not affiliated with any political party nor have I taken to liking anyone in the political arena. The writer forgets these fundamental things in his article. The Presidents family or friends should understand that the man is in office, and he will be judged, ridiculed, praised, and vilified by many. It is what happens in a Democracy. Pilato is not wrong for exercising his rights as a citizen. If President Lungu and his followers are prepared to accept praise and cheers in public, then they should be prepared to accept that there will be those who challenge these things. Funny how much fun the PF made of Rupiah Banda and even those that made fun of Mwanawasa are now trying to silence others…kettle meet pot, yes he’s black too.

It appears the writer of this article was quick to faulty Pilato to an extent that he used two instances drawn from completely different scenarios to come up with a seemingly sensible comparison! If indeed Pilato did insult HE Chagwa over his excellent “Alungu Anabwera epic” how come the state with all its resources & machinery failed to prosecute him in the courts of law?
