SATA: Nothing Sinister About Delayed Accomodation Of Former First Family

christineState House Deputy Minister Mulenga Sata says there is nothing sinister about the delay in settling former First Lady Dr. Christine Kaseba Sata in her new House.

In an interview with QFM News, Mr. Sata has since dismissed as untrue that government has been inconveniencing the former first lady.

Mr. Sata who is also the eldest son of the late President Michael Sata says the delay in settling the first family is due to some lapses in communication in the whole issue.

The State House Deputy Minister has since expressed confident that the whole issue of accommodating the former First Lady will be resolved within the next couple of weeks.

You need to develop a good criteria and scale it up to rate them, remember also that each of the first ladies we have had and have in Zambia have their own different strengths which contributes or contributed to the well being of mother Zambia in their different roles.

Big Mulenga Sata is not speaking deep down from his heart ! But just to please the authority ! I can conclude that his heart is bleeding seeing his much loved step mother being treated badly by the people late Sata trusted!

You are lacking facts. Dr. Kaseba has been taken care of, but unfortunately the cartel has been dictating to her every move so as to paint Edgar black.

Mulenga Sata is a very uncultured Malawian. How dare he criticizes his step mother like that! Last time, he was fighting to inherit his mother (ukupyana). What a useless and cursed Mulenga Sata!
Instead of sapoting his step mother, the ex dog seller indirectly critices his mother for political milage. You ave no respect young man.

    • The Whip   December 6, 2015 at 6:02 am

criticizes his step mum? did i miss that in the story above? or is this coming from some other issues?

  5. Denkete   December 5, 2015 at 8:36 am

You sound so bitter!!!!! Dr. Kaseba has not behaved according to the Zambian norms of a widow. If she was wise enough, she could have humbled herself and Edgar could have given her the position of minister of health. eg. MULENGA sata is a good example. Kaseba must learn that leadership is not sexually transmitted.

Edgar alikwata umutima u ubi it’s not just Mrs Sata, how about Guy Scott and other founding members of PF? He has sidelined Sata’s closest people totally. Are you telling me the Govt has failed to find a house more than 1 yr since her husband died? And this is same person going to God for national prayers, presidency is not forever he will taste his own medicine, very soon.

    • CoolCat   December 5, 2015 at 4:53 pm

You are a fool. Show some respect even if you dislike the President.

Jjb and nez if Kaseba is housed you will still criticize
just worry about your mother’s welfare

    • Judge Joe Bidden   December 5, 2015 at 1:49 pm

No my friend, Edgar’s behaviour towards Mrs Sata is just untraditional, inhuman and way insensitive. This is a man benefiting from a party that he wasn’t even a founding member the same party feeding him and his family… He cant find a decent house for the widow of the party founder? He’s a weird man.

      • CoolCat   December 5, 2015 at 4:59 pm

Fool. Keep on yapping with bitterness.

Why are other first ladies not complaining but only her. She just wanted to milk the government

  11. D1   December 5, 2015 at 4:55 pm

Sata was number 1 civil servant and was drawing a big salary + allowances so he shud have built his family a stable home to live after his presidency… Let that woman go and live in one of Sata’s house and moreover she’s a doctor and I believe she’s practising and have a salary.. Or better still she can get a loan and build a house………….case closed

Stop expressing your ignorance. You must know what the law says concerning. the taking care of our former first Lady Dr Kaseba. If the law says she should be accomodated why delaying the issue?Where is the problem? For sure. God will fix you as well.

  13. voter banda   December 5, 2015 at 6:37 pm

Lets be fair for once we have a lot of poor people widows, orphans and the disabled without decent shelter let her lead by example and go live in her own house chapwa..

  14. Observer   December 5, 2015 at 9:09 pm

Mrs Sata is living somewhere comfortably – whether she is in a government house or not she has a lot of money – we know. My concern is not about miscommunication or whatever Mulenga Sata is saying. I want to know whether the government is paying for an unoccupied house.

  15. emmanuel   December 5, 2015 at 9:10 pm

ECL is riding in boart full of holes and is half sank.He has even neglected the fouder members of PF,those who were very close our late president Sata.MHSRP.We. Have people like Dr Guy Scott ,Mr mwansa Kapeya etc. What he should know is that the current pf structure has been hijacked by intuders it is not the original pf which carried the vision of Mr M Sata.

  16. observer   December 5, 2015 at 9:24 pm

Its not in the best interest for us Pf members or rather Pf party to entangle with our dear first Lady Dr kaseba I must say that I for one have got great respect for her.pls let’s stop .

Critical Analizer yu’re 100% correct. Ordinary retirees a languishing coz of delayed payements of their terminal benefits. Mrs Kaseba Sata can occupy one of Sata’s houses.

There is a law that takes care of wealth people what about the suffering masses that have no means ,i salute ECL for he made it clear that he does not need a house from government after he leaves office .People are encouraged to save while in employment ,how difficulty is it for the elite .
