4 Die In Petrol Explosion

A SECURITY GUARD and three of his family members have died in an inferno in Mansa after two 20 litre containers of petrol he allegedly stole exploded.
Luapula Province deputy commissioner of police Webby Shula said the incident happened on Sunday around 22:00 hours while the guard, his wife and two children were sleeping.
Mr Shula identified the deceased as Morgan Mwewa, 47, his wife Esther Mumba, 43, Florence Kasakula, 5, and Hellen Chandwe, 3.
He said police suspect Mr Mwewa got the petrol from a guesthouse currently under construction belonging to his employer, Peter Mwilambwe.
“On the fateful night, there was a lit brazier in the house and that might have caused the containers of fuel to explode,” Mr Shula said.

We in upnd are saddened by this terrible death. We mourn with the family of this family. You people it takes alot of suffering and desperation for one to steal from his boss and also risk his life. Surely things are bad under pf. This man comed from a pf stronghold and yet he has lost his life due to tough economic climate brought about by a clue less pf party. The people are waking up and realising that poverty affects all irrespective of tribe. Rip

Bembas … the father is Mr #Mwewa but the children bear different surnames. One is #Kasakula and the other is #Chandwe whyyyyyyy not somebody #Mwewa all of them since they hail from one man?All this is crookedness. Any way sad for the deceased family.

The accident was not in Mansa, but Mwense District in Kashiba Chiefdom.
