Recently UPND vice president for administration Mr Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba alias GBM was quoted as saying Zambians will be shocked when he will produce his grade twelve school certificate.
Indeed Zambians would be shocked to see a grade six term three school dropout produce a grade twelve school certificate after failing to mention just one person who was in secondary school with him or wrote grade twelve examinations with him.
Moreover, GBM himself would be shocked that production of his purported certificate will land him in jail. I say this because I am convinced that GBM doesn’t have the said certificate having stopped school in grade six term three at Chifwani primary school in Kasama. Therefore, GBM can only produce a forged certificate and be liable for committing the criminal offence of forgery.
As such, we challenge GBM to produce his purported grade twelve school certificate. We also challenge him to name the secondary school he went to and name just one person who was his classmate.
Otherwise, we urge GBM to humble himself and admit that he lied that he had a grade twelve school certificate. In fact, if GBM has circulated any such certificate to anyone they should know that the certificate is a forgery over which the former Kasama lawmaker should be arrested and prosecuted.

Why does GBM even need to produce A Grade 12 certificate to be a Vice Presidential runnining mate? Can someone cite the the article which specifies qualifications for a running mate? I have not seen or read any! Since qualifications are not specified it therefore means anybody who aspires qualifies as long as he/she wins favor of the Presidential candidate & is picked as a running mate.
Please do not hallucinate implied qualifications that because a Vice President assumes power whenever there is a vacancy in the Presidency then by implication He/She also needs to have G12 certificate. No!

Why is so special about GBM and his partial G12 certificate from Mpika Boys and the GCE rewrites?
We should be discussing whether MPs and Councillors and some Ministers are not supposed to resign since they are now illegal. Restrospective laws are rare but this is the Constitution such that if President Edgar Lungu did not pass his G12 he would have called fresh elections?
Most importatntly we should ask what will happen in most of these Councils because in so many rural wards even without the new Rule there were no Candidates who were able to speak English and thusthe ward had no Concillor. As far as Pf is concern GBM was expelled long ago is not an entity to us. Why should we be shocked over his grade 12 certificate of he had one.

You can see how your constitution is flawed. There is no where mentioned about qualifications of a running mate and yet people were there deliberating the same constitution.

Ba Chipaso you line of argument is flawed. If you went to a decent secondary school like myself, we had debating sessions where you were taught to stick to the topic at hand and not wander! To qualify to enter grade one, there is a qualification – age. To enter University there is a qualification – a certain score at G12. To be rich as your GBM there is a qualification, enterpreunualship etc. So when we say you need G12 for certain poiltical office, wealth is not a qualification. Can GBM walk into a plane cockpit or operating theatre to perform those duties just because he is rich? If he has no G12 cert then he has missed the boat. Let him just study for it just like one has to work like him to be rich.
A presidential running mate must also be a degree holder because in case of a vacancy at Presidential office, he/she will assume power automatically but the law says for you to be Zambia’s president you must have a degree.
