PF MATERO Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has been accused of planning to launch a new political party.
Patriotic Front Lusaka province youth vice Chairperson Daniel Kalembe claims Mr. Sampa has already transported people from the different parts of the country in readiness for the launch of his new political party.
He says it is unfortunate that not too long ago, Mr. Sampa pledged his loyalty to the ruling Patriotic Front.
Mr. Kalembe has described the move allegedly taken by the PF Matero lawmaker as an act of betrayal.
He has since challenged Mr. Sampa to come out clear and state whether he is still a PF member.
And the PF in Matero Constituency has demanded the resignation of Mr Sampa from the ruling party.
PF Matero Constituency Chairman Crispin Kabole says the party in the constituency is aware of Mr.Sampa’s political maneuvers to form either his own political party or join the opposition UPND.
Mr. Kabole says Mr. Sampa will do well to leave the ruling party in peace and not create chaos.
He has accused the Matero MP of frustrating the party’s efforts in reorganizing itself ahead of August general election.
Mr. Kabole, who was flanked by the PF Matero Constituency leadership, says party members in the constituency do not want Mr. Sampa.
Efforts to get a comment from Mr. Sampa proved futile as his phone went unanswered.

Its his constitutional right,If Mr.Sampa is not satisfied with the current leadership in PF he has every right to leave and form his own party.In fact it is Mr Sampa who has been betrayed by PF,he worked hard for the party and was eventually sidelined and given deputy minister but considered Dora for full cabinet minister,the people Sata did not want in the party.Shame!!go Miles if thats your intention,I wish you good luck!!

Sampa, ask milupi, mulongoti, sondashi, Fr Bwalya, kabimba and GBM. All these they are more popular than there party. PF remained stronger than GBM and kabimba thot. Humble yourself and God thru Zambians will lift you up.

Uuuummm!!!, why worry about him. He has the constitutional right to form his party and resign from PF at the right time. After all, even if he remains PF, in the voting booth he will be alone and he will vote on upnd. We remain PF outside but inside we vote our best.
