The Zambia national team has arrived in Rwanda, five days ahead of Chipolopolo’s opening CHAN Group D match against Zimbabwe.
Chipolopolo landed at Kigali international airport at about 12:14hours. The team traveled on the flight from Johannesburg with the Ivorian Elephants. Zambia will be based in Rubavu where the team will play two Group D fixtures against Zimbabwe and Uganda while the third group match against Mali is set for the Nyamirammbo Regional stadium.
Prior to departure, FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya urged the boys to sacrifice for the country and work hard to ensure the team qualifies from the group.
