This place now sucks, this Pro-PF Bomfweko sucks I now prefer to read everything on Facebook there is a good spectrum of views from all over and learning more. Majority of articles here are for PF while there alot of going-ons out there from oppositions too. Thats why the number of regular commentators with good views from both PF and UPND has gone down, fast. Bomfweko should improve and report unbiased for all parties besides we are one country, love JJB. NB: These articles are so old, please keep up with the political climate.

Yes, this is very tribal. PF is a tribal party Bemba party but now becoming Ngoni party as many Bembas are being side lined. The author of this article also tribal. Why leave Eastern province as Lungu comes from ther. The author deliberately left out Eastern province results to influence shallow analysis am sure the author is Bemba or Ngoni

It’s about strongholds bane! Edgar just took over from data whose strong holds were in the north. Just a political propaganda to instigate hatred among tribes. We all one Zambia, one nation.

Voting patterns in lower number terms according to the statistics above:

    ECL HH
    1. LUAPULA PROVINCE***: 8 1
    2. NORTHERN PROVINCE: 5 1
    3. MUCHINGA PROVINCE 6 0
    4. COPPERBELT PROVINCE 2 1
    5. SOUTHERN PROVINCE 1 18
    6. WESTERN PROVINCE: 1 5
    7. N. WESTERN PROVINCE 1 9

***Interpretation: out of every 9 persons, 8 voted for ECL; 1 for HH.

stronghold can be based on many attributes. for example there are spirirtual, religious, professional, racial strongholds. tribe is one of those attributes. in other words a stronghold can be tribal.
