President Lungu Warns Of Electricity Blackout

President Edgar Lungu has warned that failure to increase electricity tariffs will plunge the country in total darkness.
Speaking when he addressed Sinda residents yesterday, Mr. Lungu said it’s not true that increasing the cost of electricity will have an effect on the majority Zambians, but that this will instead make electricity tariffs cost reflective.
President Lungu adds that government is also intensifying efforts to construct dams across the country to cushion the dry spell the country is experiencing.
President Lungu says the dry spell being experienced in the country is a wake-up call for government to invest more in solar energy.
He notes the need for government to expand power generation by exploring other sources in view of the erratic rainfall the country is currently experiencing.
And President Lungu says the government is gearing up its contingency measures to deal with the worst possible El Niño situation in the country.
President Lungu says in order to stave off the impact of the El Niño phenomenon, there is need to prioritize measures of ensuring there is stable supply of food, water and energy, among others.

THIS GUY HAS COMPLETELY NO CLUE ON HOW TO GOVERN THE COUNTRY. LUNGU IS A SERIOUS LIABILITY TO THE NATION. ZAMBIA NEEDS A PRESIDENT WITH A SOUND MIND. LUNGU IS A PATIENT FULL OF HALLUCINATIONS HENCE CAN NOT MAKE SMART COGNITIVE SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGES THE COUNTRY IS FACING. WE NEED AN ECONOMIC STRATEGIST AS PRESIDENT, NOT THIS GUY WHO IS CONSTANTLY SEEING THE PSYCHEDELIC VISIONS WHICH ARE ALL IMAGINATIVE.
ZAMBIANS NEED TO RELIEVE LUNGU OF HIS NATIONAL DUTIES ON AUGUST 11. VOTE FOR CHANGE. VOTE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND EQUALITY. VOTE FOR HH AND UPND.

Mr President, you’re really working but actually not doing enough. Besides, your inconsistencies of statements and directives is not doing you any favor apart from dashing the remaining hope of us your electorates.

Its not failure to increase tariffs Mr president its failure to invest in generation capacity. And instead of investing in consumption, that is roads in garden, matero, olympia, kabulonga, chilenje, woodlands etc you should have invested that money in power generation instead. Stop misleading the gullible villagers and rural folk.

Earnestly speaking, Zambians are being ruled by idiots. Muliokelas are many in this country, unfortunately they are being supported by illiterates who not long ago were blind beggars in streets of Lusaka in torn trousers with greyish balls literally hanging for all to see.

El Niño was predicted early last year. If ECL wanted to harvest water from the limited rains that we are going to have this year, then dams should have been constructed by now. ECl, by the time you will be thinking of sourcing funds for the dam projects, the rainy season will be over. Please stop mocking the Zambian people with your grandiose projects. You sold the maize from our reserves and now you are thinking of importing maize from Brazil. Please, stop taking the poor people for granted.

    Examine God’s sexism

If you would like to prove to yourself that God is imaginary, here is one easy way to do it: Look for places in the Bible where God is an absurd, unmitigated jerk instead of the “all-knowing”, “all-loving”, “fully-enlightened” being that he is supposed to be. The utter contradiction proves that God is imaginary.
God makes no mention of forming any sort of covenant with women.
There are many other examples that we can find in the Bible:
In Matthew 25:1 Jesus says: “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.”
In John 20:17 Jesus says to Mary: “Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father,” as though the touch of a woman is somehow improper, but a few verses later, is happy to have Thomas touch him.
In Genesis chapter 3, God punishes Eve, and all women for thousands of years, with greatly increased pain during childbirth. No such pain is inflicted on Adam.
In Ephesians 5:22-24 we find this: “Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.”
In 1 Peter 3:7 we find: “Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.”
In 1 John 2:13, John says, “I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.” No mention is made of women.
And so on. There are many, many examples like these throughout the old and new testaments.
There are other, broader examples of misogyny that are readily apparent in the Bible as well:
Are any of Jesus’ disciples women? No.
Are any of the elders in the book of Revelation women? No.
Are any of the books of the Bible written by women? No.
    Etc…
God, it would seem, wants nothing to do with women.
To any unbiased observer, the reason for sexism in the Bible is very easy to understand: The Bible was not written by a “all-knowing”, “all-loving”, “fully-enlightened” “god”. It was written by primitive men who were flagrant sexists. Just look at how men in primitive countries like Afghanistan treat women today. Those are the kind of men who wrote the Bible.

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good”. NIV Psalm 14:1
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows”. NIV Galatians 6:7
it seems to me you want to blame God for your miserable life, for once change your thinking and make the best out of your life.
Your argument above is out of complete ignorance or wanton biase, you need to make a distinction between whats cultural and whats scriptural in the bible. The scriptural truth is whats important to you and me. No where in the bible does it claim that all the people in it were perfect beings and neither are you and me.
Your negative opinion of GOD wont change a thing. God does not need your vote or approval and least of all he wont force you to acknowledge him.
Find a productive thing or theme and stay with it,
    “Let the wise say AMEN”

Fellow bloggers the media in some cases peddle confusion and hide facts from the readership. However that we all have relatives around the country lets help them understand what in our belief is truth and what we are up against and/or supporting especially among the less fortunate of our kinsmen and women without capacity for critical analysis of issues affecting their condition. This way information will be shared widely and come August 11, 2016 the vote cast will be of an informed foundation. Political expediency and selfishness should not take advantage of the less fortunate as wealth created out of our resources should benefit every citizen irrespective of social standing!
