Police in Lusaka this afternoon failed in their attempt to conduct a search at UPND Vice President for Administration Geoffrey Mwamba’s building where 21 UPND youths were arrested last week and offensive weapons recovered.
This is the second time Police failed to carry out a search on the premises following the arrest yesterday of Mr. Mwamba who was slapped with a charge of unlawful drilling.
Police officers in riot gear waited in vain for Mr. Mwamba and his lawyers almost the whole afternoon for them to be able to conduct the search.
The Police officers only started leaving the premises around 16:30hours as Mr. Mwamba was nowhere to be seen.
