President Edgar Lungu has warned that he will not tolerate further shortage of fuel in the country.
The President notes with concern that fuel shortages are caused by what he termed as the sluggish banking transaction.
President Lungu also explained that a fuel tanker was unjustifiably marooned in Tanzania for almost a week.
The Head of State warned those involved in the transaction that he will be forced to act.
President Lungu however said he has been assured that stocks have started improving.
The President was speaking before departure for Maputo for a state visit.

A president reduced to a chap who just issues out careless warnings without any substance in them. And this is supposed to be a lawyer. Can the president instead of issuing warnings actually do something for once or give us his plans on how he will deal with these challenges. Does this man have advisors at all?? The reason why Lungu is tolerating fuel shortage is because it immobilizes the movement of the opposition. He tolerates violence because it inculcates fear in minds of the opposition. I have always said he likes the suffering of others including his own supporters.
