Four people have been brutally murdered in Lusaka’s George Compound in suspected ritual murders.
Police picked up the bodies of four males this morning which had private parts and ears missing near a place called ‘The Paradise’ in George Compound.
The bodies which had multiple head injuries were discovered by members of the public.
Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga-Chanda has told QFM News that two of the victims have been identified as Alex Zulu and Alias Phiri aged 21 and 18 years respectively, who were last seen yesterday, 16th March, 2016 around 18:00 hours.
Ms. Munganga says preliminary investigations indicate that the bodies were dumped in the area after the victims were murdered from elsewhere.
The incident is suspected to have happened between 23:00 hours last night and the early hours of today.
And Matero residents have attributed the spate of killings in the area to the massive load shedding and lack of dedicated Police officers in the area.
They have told QFM News that they are now living in fear and have called on government to provide them with adequate security.
The bodies of the victims are lying in the University Teaching Hospital mortuary.

please napapata boma put a stiff law about these bars our papa sata had put a law which said bars should be OPEN AT 15:OOHRS and CLOSED AT 22:00HRS but it only applied when ppapa was alive wen died all died and all frogs which had hide in the mud is now on the ground even this electricity problem came after our papa went.even in homes there bars were there no toilets in the midist of the houses namely mapulanga bar chochise bar chez papa ba shimiralce bar even see guys staying 10 of them in the same house the whole day they are there.please may the boma bring nurses at goerge clinic not these cleaners to be attending to patients and insulting patients.

UPND is party for people with no moral fibre. Lives of people have been lost and this is a sad development, but to them is time for politiking. But if one of them is slapped,it becomes an issue and they complain biterly. Are UPND so blind that they can’t see an influx of foreigners in all compounds who come from countries where ritual killings happen on daily basis? It is very possible that the people who mate their fate came from homes where they lack Dstv facilities. They might have gone to watch some European soccer which they can only access in bars. That’s why Kaunda was an intelligent leader. We used to have cleanups in compounds in order to flash out bad elements in society. UPND would say, those are inconviniences, yes, but they are necessary.

Sad indeed for the deceased, however Tumfweko shouldn’t use wrong pictures as you are sending wrong signals. Four pipo were killed in George Compound, but it appears several were murdered.
Those Pictures are South African at Marikana Platinum Mine on a small Hill near Rustenburg in the North West Province of the South Africa. Zambian Police Service do not have riot Kits like the ones in the Picture. However it is true that Four Bodies were picked by the Police.

During last week’s youth day celebration day, they were some clashes between cadres from both PF and UPND. quite alright some people got injured during the fracas. But look at how ZWD portrayed the whole scenario? They showed images of the injured, they had bruises on the necks, limbs,faces and hands. But when describing the injuries sustained, they reported that pangas were allegedly used in the act. Why such lies? All us know what king of damage pangas can do to human body parts. It becomes a problem when the pf breeds ignorant people due to closure of university. It seems these ignorant people would rather read pictures than read actual article. No where has the editor stated that the photo is depiction of actual event. Any person with a bit of common sense would realise that it is just for illustration purposes.
