Kalusha Concedes Defeat, Wishes New Executive All The Best

Former FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya has wished the new Football House leadership of Andrew Kamanga the best.
The 1988 African Footballer of the Year took to Facebook posting in the aftermath of a narrow loss:
“Football is about winning and losing . I want Zambian Football to win. All the best 2 @FAZFootball and the New leadership.”
Bwalya lost to successful businessman and soccer administrator Kamanga by seven votes in the FAZ election held at Moba Hotel in Kitwe yesterday.

Because God made you for a reason, he also decided when you would be born and how long you would live. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death. The Bible says, “You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!” [Psalm 139:16]
The human cost [of WWII], not including between 5.6 million and 5.9 million Jews killed in the Holocaust who were indirect victims of the war, is estimated to have been 55 million dead—25 million of those military and 30 million civilian.
      In addition, according to Encarta:
      • 61 countries participated in WWII
      • 1.7 billion people participated in WWII
      • 75% of all human beings alive at the time participated in WWII
World War II was obviously a major disaster — perhaps the most horrific event the world has ever seen. It is safe to say that nearly every human being on planet Earth prayed to God that this war would end.
So, on the one hand you have a religion that says, “God has planned the days of your life in advance.” On the other hand that same religion says, “Pray to God and he will answer your prayers.” One of those two statements must be false. In fact, both of them are wrong

Good news. Kalusha has lost and HH to follow suit. Please HH once you lose in Aug, just concede defeat not to start declaring that you are just waiting to be in plot1.

Kalusha was the incumbent in the same way that lungu is incumbent. So your analogy is misplaced and shows just how much objectivity you lack. Please advice lungu not to cry likr rb did

MJ Banda Its the other way round . U are always running out of ideas when writing . Cool down and think properly, save your energy and swallow your pride. You are still in darkness so ending using abusive language or insulting to cool your temper

Well well. For a very long time I have been saying that kalu should have stepped down. He has corruption charges against him and also had lamentably failed to manage football. As they say it is better to leave while people are clapping. This kalu guy is a pf cadre and indeed has been shown that zambians cannot be fooled forever. In august another chap lungu will be shown exit

This is sad news, nomatter how u see it…life is about positivity & connections, kalu was connected,he is in caf/fifa committee, under him bola yapa zed started showing on supersport, mtn became sponsors of local league, ichikombe was introduced to the wining team ,but he was not that good in casting the net wide for team selection………..zambian football will slowly die if not checked well….pliz kamanga u shouldnt sideline kalu he is the game changer.

“The 1988 African Footballer of the Year took to Facebook posting in the aftermath of a narrow loss.”

This is not what one would have expected from Kalusha with his unequaled accolades on the Zambian soccer scene. He should have acted very sportsman like and made a conceding speech before councillors that attended the FAZ meeting! This indicates a bitter loser despite the narrow loss. It doesn’t take much to spoil the view one has of one that is regarded a legend!

There was no need to step down before elections. Democracy requires that you contest elections and if possible win. This means you can also lose. The most important is to concede defeat. Kalu still remains the most respected person world wide. He is the only Zambian to enter the Hall of fame.
I hope the Zambia National team will not go down like Kabwe Warriors or Makumbi stars. We are hopeful and we are yet to see if Zambian football will change now for the better. Kalu managed the Africa cup, Kamanga should bring the world cup.
