HRC Condemns Torture Of Suspected ZNBC Female Shoplifters

The Human Rights Commission (HRC) has condemned the torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment of two females who were suspected of shoplifting at Jet Stores at PHI Shopping Mall in Lusaka.
HRC Chief of Information, Education and Training Mweelwa Muleya has reminded both State and Non-State Actors that acts of torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment are absolutely prohibited by Article 15 of the Zambian Constitution.
Mr. Muleya explains that the Commission became aware of this form of human rights violation yesterday, 21st March 2016, through Social Media Platforms and immediately instituted independent investigations, which established as a fact that two named ladies of Mtendere Townships in Lusaka, aged 19 and 21 years old respectively, were indeed subjected to acts of torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment by Jet Stores Officials on 23rdNovember 2015 around 18:00 hours.
He has disclosed to QFM News that the Commission has since interviewed the Stores Manager at Jet Stores, PHI, who has admitted painting the ladies with water paint, claiming that the victims consented to that kind of ill-treatment as opposed to being either fined or taken to police.
He furthermore discloses that HRC also interviewed both victims who reported that they were physically and emotionally abused by beating them with electrical cables from 16:00 hours to 18:00 hours to an extent of one of them becoming unconscious while the other one bled from the ears.
He adds that the victims also claimed verbal, sexual and physical harassment during the ordeal that took place in a room where they were later forced to lay down and subjected to being painted with yellow water paint all over the body.
Mr. Muleya says the Commission will summon both Jet Stores Management and the two victims for further investigations and action.
The two female victims confirmed that they were accused of shoplifting a skirt, a sweatshirt and a hat while the Stores Manager said they had shoplifted three ladies’ hats, a skirt and a boys’ T-Shirts.
Meanwhile, Center for Reproductive Health and Education (CRHE) Executive Director Amos Mwale says Jet Stores must issue an apology and promise to stop this kind of treatment
Mr. Mwale says women’s rights are human rights and they must be respected.

In the same way, the HRC should condemn the abuse the government officials and its leadership is facing at the hands of the so cold media houses “Zambian watch dog”, and the Post Newspaper in their quest to support their political allies.

The PF is able to defend itself but these same people will cry the loudest that is why the PF has now chosen to be insulted, injured and even killed without retaliation because we are the custodians of the peace this Country so cherishes.

THE TORTURES WERE FOLLOWING THE BIBLE & GOD:
    Examine God’s sexism..
If you would like to prove to yourself that God is imaginary, here is one easy way to do it: Look for places in the Bible where God is an absurd, unmitigated jerk instead of the “all-knowing”, “all-loving”, “fully-enlightened” being that he is supposed to be. The utter contradiction proves that God is imaginary.
God makes no mention of forming any sort of covenant with women.
There are many other examples that we can find in the Bible:
In Matthew 25:1 Jesus says: “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.”
In John 20:17 Jesus says to Mary: “Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father,” as though the touch of a woman is somehow improper, but a few verses later, is happy to have Thomas touch him.
In Genesis chapter 3, God punishes Eve, and all women for thousands of years, with greatly increased pain during childbirth. No such pain is inflicted on Adam.
In Ephesians 5:22-24 we find this: “Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.”
In 1 Peter 3:7 we find: “Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.”
In 1 John 2:13, John says, “I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.” No mention is made of women.
And so on. There are many, many examples like these throughout the old and new testaments.
There are other, broader examples of misogyny that are readily apparent in the Bible as well:
Are any of Jesus’ disciples women? No.
Are any of the elders in the book of Revelation women? No.
Are any of the books of the Bible written by women? No.Etc..
God, it would seem, wants nothing to do with women.
To any unbiased observer, the reason for sexism in the Bible is very easy to understand: The Bible was not written by a “all-knowing”, “all-loving”, “fully-enlightened” “god”. It was written by primitive men who were flagrant sexists. Just look at how men in primitive countries like Afghanistan treat women today. Those are the kind of men who wrote the Bible.

I want to know why Tumfweko does not block this devil going by the name pwanya…. from this site. I am sure every God fearing Zambian finds posts from this ‘thing’ repugnant and repulsive. It always drags the name of the Almighty into discussions that have nothing to do with religion at all. Whatever creature you are, you pwanya whatever, may you reveal yourself. May you fall from your chair wherever you are typing from. Actually, if ever I meet you physically, sensing that you may well be just an evil spirit, I will whip those demons out of you. I wish I could pee on your posts without damaging my computer.

This is a serious case. Such inhuman treatment should be seriously condemned. There is need to investigate on this. There is no way one can use paint on human skin to that level. Chemicals contained there may affect those ladies later on. This rubbish treatment must be stopped.

All cases of criminality should be dealt by Zambia Police. The way Jets treated that case is inhuman it should be investigated and the personnel involved put to book.

@christa, no wonder you are what you are. Its a crying shame to be such a loser to the extent of blasphemy. By the way, God does not only imply Christianity. All religions that believe in a higher supernatural being that is responsible for their very existence, are offended by your devil mindedness. Even though you do not believe in God, you should thank God you do not live in a Muslim country. They would have converted even the hairs on your bald head my sister.

paint is nothing compared to 6 month jail time. it could have a problem on the health of humans but any misdemeanor act is usually punished in one form or the other.
women should know that life can be tough out there. tekanya get married and if you can, go to school so that you assist the hubby in running the tough economic affairs of family need

HRC= A toothless and biased commission wants to entice the PF to increase the funding allocation to avoid what is happening with ACC is total nonsense. They are displaying favors of foolishness.
    1. UPND lady was stripped naked they didn’t see, hear or read in private media.
    2. Police are detaining and torturing citizen their batteries are not shaken.
    3. Now they have woken up when they have heard that’s a Foreign company is involved to win accolades from the PF and some people with short-term memory.
    4. They were supposed to remain quiet in both cases or condemn both cases .
