10. Broccoli

Did you know that tonic water is also a libido suppresser? The quinine that flavors it is known to lower testosterone levels.

Yes! The sinful fruit, the reason behind man’s fall should be avoided before your big bang! Since apple has high insulin, it can easily risk your testosterone levels.

6. Cheese

Any food containing cheese should be avoided before making love. Cheese is heavy and lingers on for long. So, to avoid a smelly affair while you are in action, avoid this tempting ingredient!

5. Red Meat

It is widely believed that red meat provides instant energy and thus is good to eat before getting into a cozy encounter. The truth is that “Since red meat is heavy to digest, it gives a feeling of fullness and a bloated stomach, which is not the perfect situation to be in,” says Dr. Mondal.
Also, the foul smell of spices used can put in awkward situation!

4.  Canned food

If you plan to grab quick food from your nearest 24X7 store before heading to your bedroom, think again!
BPA used in canned foods is bad for testosterone levels and should be avoided.

3. Alcohol

Oops, did we not believe that alcohol sets the mood right? Sorry, but the science believes the other way. Dr. Mondal says that apart from decreasing your testosterone levels, alcohol also results in excessive bloating of stomach and a feeling of fullness. And this certainly doesn’t sound perfect for a sensuous act!

2. Sugar
You don’t need sugary sweets for sweet moments! According to a research, insulin, the hormone which is secreted after eating, is linked to low testosterone levels. So yes, you will have to ditch the dessert!

You may be in the habit of chewing gum to prepare for your sack session. But it may actually be ‘cooling’ you down. “The menthol present in the mouth fresheners lowers testosterone levels,” says Dr. Bappaditya Mondal.
