Transperancy: FAZ Announces Gate Takings, Posts K873, 000 as Profit

By Musonda Chibulu

FAZ raise K873, 000 (AS PROFIT) from last Wednesday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo-Brazaville.
The Zambia Daily Mail (and Times of Zambia) says FAZ Treasurer Rix Mweemba said in Lusaka that the association raised about K1.5 million from the mid-week fixture at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
He said the total expenses for the match were K583, 000 resulting into the K873, 000 PROFIT.
And Mweemba thanked President Lungu for the gesture to buy tickets for fans in the open wing.
“I would like to commend President Lungu for coming forward and pay for fans,” he said.
And Sports Minister Vincent Mwale has challenged the new Andrew Kamanga led executive to ensure Chipolopolo qualify to the 2018 Russia World Cup.

Please FAZ, consider the remaining home games to be played at heros stadium both afcon & wc qulifier macthes, i say so because at levy stadium we hav lost our winning spirit, we better try our lucky at heros stadium.

Good news, just the misspelling of words by Tumfweko has spoiled the news.It is transparency and not transperancy. You must employ a proof reader.

We have more soccer lovers in Lusaka than Copper belt province at the moment because of income disparaties. Its easy to make money here in Lusaka than CB . Because we have so many thieves in Lusaka. The other advantage Heroes has over Levy, is the sitting capacity. Yes, FAZ can make more profit here than in Ndola.

The issue that must ne discussed is the announcement of gate takings which Kalusha led team failed to announce all their stay in office. Changing the venue is very immaterial and must not be supported by people who can read between the lines.
