ACC Arrests Livingstone Mayor, Acting Town Clerk & Ward Councillor For Corrupt Practices

The Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested Livingstone Mayor Milford Maambo, Councillor for Musi-oa-Tunya ward Ziwa Malilo Ziwa and Former Acting Town Clerk Chabala Chanda for corrupt practices involving K164, 000.00
Milfiord Mambo aged 46 of 2613/2113 of Dambwa North, Ziwa Malilo Ziwa aged 38 of Plot No.188 Off Lusaka Road and Chabala Chanda aged 41 of 16 A Makoma Road in Livingstone have been charged with 24 counts of Corrupt Practices offences.
The Offences range from unlawfully acquisition of plots which were subsequently sold to unsuspecting Livingstone residents, forgery, and issuing of offer letters without laid down land alienation procedures contrary to the laws of Zambia.
The trio who denied the charges have since been released Bond and will appear for plea today before the Livingstone Magistrates Court.

    Exactly what happens when pf wins a constituency in very questionable circumstances. Before livingstone had pf mp corruption was unheard of. That is why come august thr people will reject thar foolish mp who rigged and used violence to win thar seat. 2016 is year of progressive party upnd. We thank you and ask for your help

    I have just arrived back home in Lusaka zambia after long flight. Am glad to be back home. I will be issuing comprehensive statement on my trip and what we achieved.     Nez plse tell us, are all those arrested Pf Councillors? If so yes they should not just be voted out, but they should be jailed as well.A crime knows no party; a crime is a crime and the culprit must face the full wrath of the law.
