Nkana faces San Pedro and Zesco United take on Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Confederations Cup playoffs ,first leg matches on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Both matches kick start at 15h00.

Kalampa and Zega will be at home this weekend hoping to avoid exiting the Confederations Cup after being eliminated from the Champions League.

The Super Division duo were relegated to Confederations Cup after being knocked out of the CAF Champions League at pre-group stage by TP Mazembe of Congo DR and Simba of Tanzania respectively.

Zesco and Nkana are meeting their opponents for the first time in CAF inter club competition .

Ahead of Saturday’s match , Pedro beat SO Armee 2-0 in the local league on December 28, 2018 .

Pedro are currently in second place in the local league with 24 points after playing 13 matches .

Ivorian side has won 6 matches , drawn 6 matches , lost one match and have scored 18 goals.

The last time Kalampa played an Ivorian Club was in 2014 in the same competition when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sewe Sport in Wusakile before losing 3-0 away in Ivory Coast .

A win on Saturday will see Kalampa stretch their unbeaten continental home record to 57 matches in 42 years .

Meanwhile , Zesco’s opponents Chiefs on Wednesday beat Bidvest Wits 2-0 in a league match prior to Sunday’s showdown in Ndola.

Chiefs sits fifth in the ABSA premier League with 24 points after posting 6 wins from 17 matches played.
