If you see a person in Lusaka without the left leg and in pain, you may consider notifying the Police as they have instituted investigations into how a limb found itself in Garden Compound near sewer ponds.
Police yesterday, 17th September, 2019 at about 16:40 hours picked an amputated left leg as they were patrolling Lusaka’s Garden site three area near the sewer ponds.
Police public relations officer Esther Katongo has confirmed that a lower limb was found with some fresh blood and part of it was bandaged.
She says next to the leg was a black plastic and it is suspected that the discovered limb could have been wrapped on the same polythen after amputation and later disposed of.
Police have deposited the leg at UTH mortuary for custody as they carry investigations.
