Government Challenged On Quality Of Jobs

A Local Non-Governmental Organisation has challenged government to ensure quality in jobs being created in view of increased investments.

This is in the wake of announcements that thousands of jobs will be created by new and increased investments in sectors that include hotel and tourism as well as Mining.

The Centre for Global Dialogue is of the view that much as there are new jobs being created; some investors are offering local’s indecent employment.

Executive Director, Vladmir Chilinya has told MUVI TV news that more must be done to ensure that the welfare of those employed corresponds with the announced investments.
