Youths Warned Against Voting For The MMD

The Zambian peoples pact has warned youths on the Copperbelt against voting for the ruling MMD saying it has failed to create employment for them.
Pact Interim Chairperson for Mobilization Peter Sinkamba says the Copperbelt province has seen the least development under the 20 year reign of the MMD.
Speaking during a public rally yesterday at Wusakile grounds in Kitwe; Mr. Sinkamba said political parties are targeting the Copperbelt province because of the highest number of registered voters.
He warned the youths on the Copperbelt that they will not see any development if the MMD government is allowed to govern the country after the general elections.
Mr. Sinkamba further expressed disappointment that the MMD government had neglected the people in the mining communities.
And speaking at the same rally, founder member of Get Involved Zambia Father Frank Bwalya said Education Minister Dora Siliya is afraid of leaving government because of the funds she has continued to abuse.
Meanwhile, Father Bwalya said President Rupiah Banda should be given a red card for supporting the Stand Up for Zambia programme produced by freelance journalist Chanda Chimba.
