Kangombe : MarkyII’s Arrest Could Be Politically Motivated
Zambia Peoples Pact Interim Secretary Christopher Kangombe has observed that the arrest of popular Copperbelt Musician Malaza Kaira aka Marky 2 could be politically motivated.
Kangombe wonders why Marky 2 was arrested for suspected Copper Theft when well known copper dealers on the Copperbelt have been left parading the streets freely.
He has since demanded that police go after the renowned copper dealers as well.
And Kangombe has challenged the police to exercise professionalism in dealing with the case.
He questions the credibility of MMD adopted aspiring candidates in some parts of the Copperbelt who he says have been linked to illegal mining activities.
Marky and General Kanene were recently arrested for suspected Copper theft.
The duo are to appear in court soon.
