Confusion Rocks Kitwe Town Centre As MMD Sympathisers Scuffle For Chitenge Material

There was drama in Kitwe Thursday afternoon in town centre when Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) sympathizers scuffled for MMD Chitenge material.
The group calling themselves the Die Hard for RB and MMD team had gathered at Kitwe City Square to carry out a solidarity campaign in support of President Rupiah Banda.
The sympathizers vowed to carry out the march past only after they were given the chitenge materials.
However, the march past took place after much pleading from the organizers.
And speaking after the march past, Nkana constituency Aspiring Member of Parliament Divo Katete urged people not to listen to politicians who are deceiving them by calling developmental projects done by president Rupiah Banda as eleventh hour projects.
Mr. Katete said it is unfortunate that some opposition political parties have failed to appreciate the bumper harvest and other developmental projects implemented by president Rupiah Banda.
Mr. Katete said president Banda has brought enough development such as roads and other infrastructure for the period he has served as president.
He said President Banda is working hard to bring more development in the nation, adding that this is the reason he has brought the youths on board to address challenges being faced by young people.
And speaking at the same function Die Hard RB and MMD Team National Coordinator Bowman Lusambo said the team will not tolerate people like Mike Mulongoti, George Mpombo and others who are telling people lies about president Banda.
Mr. Lusambo further urged youths to support a leader who will bring development in the nation and not promote homosexuality.
