Mweetwa : We Expect More To Ditch Our Party UPND

THE United Party for National Development (UPND) says it expects many more senior party members to resign following their not being adopted.
Commenting on the recent resignation of their national chairman, Edward Kasoko, UPND deputy spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa said it was unfortunate that senior party members have opted to resign following the adoption process.
“It is very unfortunate and undemocratic the manner in which Mr. Kasoko has resigned. He was Mwembeshi Member of Parliament for ten years. When he I discovered that he was not re-adopted, Mr. Kasoko decided to resign. We expect many more senior members who have not been adopted to resign from the UPND,” Mweetwa said.
