A BIG SCREEN at Zambia’s new 45,000 seater national stadium, has been stolen. It is understood
this is barely a month before brand new speakers at the same stadium were stolen.
And soccer fans have bemoaned lack of security at the countrys national pride.
One of the many fans who bemoaned the development, wondered how a TV Big screen mounted in the stadium would be removed questioning the type of security at the stadium.
The fans bemoaned and wondered with regret how the infrastructure would be maintained and survive once the stadium was in operation.
The general populace have since called on the police to investigate the matter seriously and bring the culprits to book as the thieves who stole the speakers are no where to be found as police have failed to track them down.
People believe that the ones who stole the mega speakers are the same ones who have ambushed the TV Big Screen now.
The ultra-modern Ndola Stadium which is under-construction could host the Chipolopolo Boys’ last Gabon/Equatorial 2012 African Cup of Nations Group C fixture against Libya on 7th October, 2011.
And the new atmosphere at the Chipolopolo Boys new home could just steer Dario Bonetti’s men to victory in what could be a mouth-watering clash against the Arabs.
The match itself could be a nail biting for both sides guaranteed they win their respective two fixtures before the eagerly anticipated clash on 7th October, 2011 in Ndola.
