eavy ‘Panic and Uneasy’ among marketeers and the general public in Chisokone market in Kitwe town in the morning and this afternoon when word went round that police vehicles where in Kitwe town.
The vehicles which are to be deployed in Kitwe to curb what the police have termed ‘expected Violence’ before, during and after elections where parked at Kitwe Central Police Station ground where Inspector General of Police, Francis Kabonde was scheduled to handover the Military trucks and Brand New Toyota Landcruiser, 1 HZ.
Residents and Marketeers, who went to have a ‘glimpse’ at the vehicles expressed fear and questioned that, if the Zambia Police can bring such Military Vehicles in the city, are they expecting war or Does someone know the expected result for the forthcoming general elections or that Zambian people will not be able to accept what they termed ‘change of government’?
Others said, no amount of intimidation will sway them from voting for there preferred candidate on the 9/20 elections.
Meanwhile, PF Nkana constituency aspirant, Luxon Kazabu’s intro visit to Chisokone market caused business to come to a standstill as marketeers chanted ‘Pa Bwato, Donchi Kubeba’ slogans in solidarity to the PF strongman and PF as a whole.
Chisokone PF branch organized the introduction of their Parliamentarian aspirant to Chisokone marketeers.

But I really get shocked with thinking of Zambians at times. Whats to cause a stir honestly. You just see new police transportation and you start panicking.
