UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) vice-president Richard Kapita has revealed the party sacked the disgraced former academician, Neo Simutanyi, as head of the party secretariat because of gross incompetency and doubts about his personal integrity.
Mr Kapita was reacting to Neo’s rating of the UPND as a distant third positioned party on 13 percent against the MMD’s alleged 41 percent and Patriotic Front (PF)’s 38 percent in a dubious (personal) opinion poll cooked on his laptop and released last Wednesday.
PF president Michael Sata is not bothered about Neo’s personal opinion which he wants to disguise as a public opinion poll. Neo has in the past publicly vowed that Mr Sata must not be allowed to rule this country at all costs.
Mr Kapita said Neo was a bitter man who has not said anything good about the UPND since his un-ceremonial exit from the party in 2004.
The deputy UPND boss also revealed that Neo earns a living off the MMD by supplying them false public propaganda to attempt to tune public opinion in favour of the ruling party, which he himself shows has lost by dozens points in some provinces but surprisingly maintains they have consolidated support.
“He gets money from the MMD to do those things. We know him as a bitter man who could not keep in the job as head of the secretariat because he could not make the grade” Mr Kapita said.
Mr Kapita also dismissed as fantasy, Neo’s claims that the MMD had consolidated its support in many areas of the country, saying the only consolidation is in Neo’s pockets.
Mr Kapita’s revelations makes Neo a candidate for what some opposition political parties have termed a ‘shameful list of rented mouths of Edward Mumbi, Edwin Lifwekelo, Gregory Chifire, Moses Kalonde, Thabo Kawana and Kelvin Sampa’, each running a specific wing within the MMD propaganda department but posing as Non-Governmental Organizations.
Neo’s opinion has divided opinion among the intelligentsia and political activists who have been forced to examine Neo’s post-graduate studies in Britain and discovered that his PhD supervisor did not remember the man ever qualifying for the award after abandoning the programme midstream.
Neo’s polls in the last three months:
June 2011–PF will win by three percent because the party has made inroads into new areas
July 2011—In a poll commissioned by a foreign multi-national Neo says PF will win by 4 percent
September 2011—MMD will win by three percent, because “party has consolidated its strongholds.”

It is a fact that opinion polls sponsored by any political group, party, or NGO, will not give results which favours their opponent.
All the POLLS from now until voting date are thus NULL AND VOID.
Ignore Neo’s opinion poll at your own peril, he did it 2006, 2008 and they came out to be correct.
This guy is a fool who should never be taken serious. He wants Zambian to rethink there strategy. The Fact is if he is sure that MMD will win why should he worry.Those fake Opinion polls like the one by The sick Humphrey Siulapwa is a joke. This makes me think even the MMD is full of sick individuals including its leadership. What we have is a replica of what took place in 1991. People got tired and kicked out Kaunda. This time they are tired and they will kick out Banda and the MMD. It has nothing to do with what the Gvt has put in place.

Why did the University of Zambia allow Neo Simutanyi to pose a PHD holder when the chap didnt even finish his Doctorate studies? The Police should start investigating Neo for faking his qualifications and getting a salary from UNZA that he did not deserve.
