Abdominal Pains Hamper Kunda’s Campaigns

VICE-President George Kunda last Friday struggled to address a rally at Kapeshi Basic School after he developed abdominal pains.
This prompted the interpreter, Serenje District Commissioner Ntembwa Chibwana, to announce that the rally would soon continue.
“Batubeleleko uluse mukwai. Pakashita fye kanini ba Vice-President balaisa, rally itwalilile.
“(Please forgive us, in a short while the Vice-President will return and the rally will continue),” Chibwana told the audience.
After a short while, Vice-President Kunda continued and said it was only MMD that would bring development to Zambia.
He said MMD deserved another term of office in order to complete the projects it started.
He said people should not listen to lies being peddled by the opposition.
And former MMD Muchinga parliamentarian Ackson Kalunga, who is campaign manager for the PF’s Muchinga candidate, said it was not the first time Vice-President Kunda developed stomach upsets.
He said Vice-President Kunda failed to address successful rallies in some parts of his constituency.
“I have been going round Muchinga constituency addressing successful rallies but the Vice-President has been struggling. At Sote Basic School he suffered stomach pains and has to excuse himself three times from the rally,” Kalunga said.
Kalunga wondered why Chibwana, a civil servant was taking part in partisan politics.
“I met him (Chibwana) at the filling station and asked him why he was behaving like a cadre. He told me that ‘I can’t bite the finger that feeds me’,” he said.
Meanwhile, PF vice-president Dr Guy Scott said it would be shameful to elect Vice-president Kunda because the US government had no faith in him.

With due respect Tumfweko, when you write abdominal pains, do you mean frequenting the bathroom? I also had the bug last week and i think its not very wise to be very far away from the comfort of ones own restroom when with afflicted with ”abdominal pains”.
