President Sata dissolves ERB board

Republican President Michael Sata has with immediate effect dissolved the Energy Regulation Board (ERB)board.

President Sata has since appointed a commission to be headed by Patriotic Front General Secretary Wynter Kabimba to probe corruption allegations surrounding ERB.

He says there is need to ascertain why the prices of petroleum products in the country have continued to sky rocket.

The President has also demanded reports on the sale of Finance Bank Zambia Limited to First National Bank of South Africa and the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) deal to be availed to his office within 30 thirty days.

The 98 million United States Dollars NAPSA deal recently raised questions from several members of the public over the manner the transaction was handled.

President Sata was speaking at State House this morning when he swore in all appointed cabinet and deputy ministers.

And President Sata has urged all those appointed in various ministerial positions to work to the best of their ability in order for Zambians to benefit from their services.

Yesterday, President Sata took a step in fulfilling his 90 days promises by downsizing cabinet from 22 ministers to 19.

As you clean up all the cobwebs dont spend much time and energy as we need projects implemented though you have started well. Those who have been appointed should brace for hard work otherwise, you will be publicly denounced. Can the president also move faster on the PS, there are a lot of cadre PS like Western province,Southern, Copperbelt and all the DCs including Christor Kalulu. Those to be appointed should be seriously warned against been partisan like was exhibited by one Joshua Mutisa who was even punching ministers.

if u have a lazy thieving leader then all his subordinates will be thieves , but if u have a leader who is hard working then expect better things . take an example of the late president LP Mwanawasa.

This is very encouraging. Bravooooooooooooo sata, personally i have not seen the benefit of the energy regulation bord apart from increasing fuel and electricity bills. They could tell us that they have increased electricity for the next 3 years and the percentages given respectively yet b4 12 months elapses, then u see another increase. Zambians, fasten your seat belts coz we are definitely in for a rough ride, alaa driver tukwete tamona amabumpu, guess this is y king cobra was spared to wipe out some of this mess,

As you fire them, give us the positions especially for those retiring. It has been too much of bouncing back on contracts to govt offices by retirees. I was wondering when I will be promoted.

Next are Perm Secs, Directors and DCs. All these guys are MMD card carriers. Examples are Kristafor, Southern Province and Mumba, Northwestern.

By December we must be done with the Foreign Service as well.

    Well,

We know that the PF Leader likes controversy and acrimony! ERB has Sikota Wina as its Chairman or something, I stand to be corrected. Sikota Wina famously said Sata can never be President! ERB are levying us so that they can build a Prestiguous new office near FAZ House estimated to cost over ZMK30 Billion and am sure hefty Allowance for the Board Members. They Also have a Lawyer for CEO, How like there are no Mechanical or Chemical Engineers qualified for that role. Is he Sikota Wina’s nephew?

We also know that the FNB saga was precipitated by RB’s clash with Rajan Mathani who is said to have repossessed a house which RB had given to his late wife’s family. Mathani is also alleged to have grabbed Zambezi Portland from the original owners.

If BoZ were sincere in the sale of FNB, why did they not investigate all the other banks because we know that these Directors at the Banks have over borrowed using their positions! Let them investigate all the banks because we know they don’t give us loans but instead give themselves hefty loans. Insider dealing can only be at Finance bank, How? what about Barclays, Invest Trust, etc? The value of Finance bank with over 30 Branches at ZMK27 Billion is a mockery because the Value of the Buildings alone far exceeds that and what about the other assets such as Furniture, computers, fixtures and Security installations, ATMs etc One ATM is valued at K100M – K150M.

PF leader is lashing out venom. If you are wisecover your eyes or better still leave before you catch the spit.

Sunga Umukoshi, Ubulung tabwayafye indeed. Sata, has kept himself alive and healthy and even when People like Sikota Wina said he will never be President! Learn a lesson young people of Zambia.

    God Bless ZAMBIA.

As the new PF Gorvernment intensify its clean up of the mess the previous gorvernment left, may it quickly also clean up Ministry of Health, especially, the Human Resource at Ndeke House.
I think the personnel their are incompetent, uncaring, boastiful, to mention.
There is no ways of a big Ministry like Health officers can keep loosing files for staff. Many are made to travel long distances to follow up for their applications for employment, only to be told that they resubmit their documents as those submitted earlier are said to be missing.
They paint a picture that the ministry is understaffed when a lot have applied for jobs which they dont attend to but loose applications.
The officers are always in the meetings/workshops which they dont even implement but just spend huge tax payers/donor funds.

A sound warning, The King cobra will soon visit you, and you will also start sleeping in colds like many of us are right now doing just to submit documents 5 times without acting on them
