It is a question of time; majority of Zambians will feel MMD’s loss in the 2011 election.
For now they are still busy with celebrations of SATA’s victory.

There are always opportunities for those who do their jobs well. World is looking for people with integrity. They should have stood their grounds and even if they were fired that time, they would have lived with their heads high.
But it is really a hard choice. If they are fired, there are many who are ready to bootlick and toe the party and president’s line.

Hope Mr. Sata puts good institutions and systems in place and that starts with good constitution.

Please do not look at Col. Kayukwa as a weak individual. The man had retired from the Military, and you know what happens to the retirees. Even Rupiah when he was unearthed from his farm, did he ever bite the appointing finger of Mwanawasa? A big NO! “Nipamene pachoka supu.” Political appointees are in a difficult situation to make an independent decision. Do not talk about integrity here. Its just quite difficult to bite the appointing finger. Lets wait and see who will bite the finger of Sata.

Clean the system Michael. Clean all institutions. Zesco inclusive.

  15. pnl   October 1, 2011 at 6:39 pm

As Kayukwa goes, let him explain how on earth he covered corruption instead of fighting it. There is a prima facea case already needing trial of the former ACC chief. Firing him is not enough. Arresting him for abeting his constitutional powers.

  16. Thy Kingdom come   October 1, 2011 at 7:05 pm

let this position appointed by a parliamentary committee, so that it can be free from political interferance. Otherwise, it will b the same old story. ACC MUST BE I NDEPENDENT

  17. Robo Cop   October 1, 2011 at 7:18 pm

Kabonde is next. He failed to arrest MMD cadres who were involved in violence but was quick to arrest PF supporters. The Mufumbwe and Chongwe saga are some of the prominent cases.
I disagree with Esnart Soko. Mumba Malila, Max Nkole and Madame Wandi are some of the political appointees who were sacked for standing true to their professional beliefs and ethics.

  18. sting   October 1, 2011 at 7:42 pm

People When is Kabonde going to be crobd? days are numbered ba Kabonde you thought you were a star ale nalelo tutinye dirty minded chap.

Good observation when mr kabonde going? Twalemweba ati BA SATA baleisa Watchout TAMWALEUNFWA thats they wre preventing to become a president they new that they re wrong doers. But MR SATA IS A NO NONSENSE MAN. Teach them a lesson mr president and leave a history that we had a displined president one time in zambia.

  20. Pioneer   October 1, 2011 at 8:41 pm

Your Excellency, do not spare Zesco M.D, Tazara(Aka Lewanika), DPP(Chalwe Mchenga), Zambia Police Inspector General(Kabonde), all army chiefs whom RBbish recalled from retirement and all the District(MMD cadres) Commissioners. Ensure to also get rid of their assistants/deputies as they are birds of the same feather. Zambia must surely be cleaned and cleansed.

  21. CRY   October 1, 2011 at 9:30 pm

RE CALL AMBASSADORS AS WELL. DROP SOME PERM SECS. RETIRE ALL DEFENCE CHIEFS. DISSOLVE STATE BOARDS. WHERE IS RB STAYING?

  22. Matanga   October 1, 2011 at 9:42 pm

These chaps under RB thought they had natural powers and took us for granted, but not knowing that the real power is in the hands of the people they re serving. Now let our President Mr Sata do his job. Please bring them to book all of them.

  23. muzi   October 2, 2011 at 8:13 am
