William ‘Tekere’ Banda To Appear In Court Tomorrow 10/12

Embattled former MMD Lusaka Province Chairperson William Banda is on Wednesday expected to appear in the Lusaka Magistrate Court for mention.
This is in a matter where Mr Banda is charged with one count of proposing violence.
But Mr Banda has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He has been granted 60 million Kwacha cash bail, with two working sureties from recognized institutions.
Last month, Mr Banda allegedly instigated MMD cadres in Chongwe District to attack their PF counterparts in the run up to the September 20 tripartite elections.
Mr Banda was arrested by police on September, 26 at a lodge in Chipata, Eastern province when he attempted to flee to Malawi.

    Go for the bigger fish. Leave these cadres as they had no other source of income and spoke out of their empty bellies than “nerve tissue in the head’ (brain).

    His namesake shall be investigated. Banda Rupiah is the real culprit. He stole billions and put Zambia in debt of trillions for his mobile hospitals, unnecessary high fly adventures to african, asian, middle east and european destinations.
