continuing criticizing RB and his Government will not put money in our pockets. this is not campaign time, we need developmental issues to be addressed and be implemented.
rumors has it that 75% of Zambia’s population is unemployed and people are striving to survive, hunger, diseases… these are some of the root cause of corruption.
youths of this country want jobs and this Government want to increase retirement age? this will mean denying us youths opportunities to work.

Most bloggers on this article seem to be PF members and sympathisers who think their work is to defend Sata and his PF. Why should you only like Tumfweko when it praises SAta and his PF government but hate it the moment it publishes anti-Sata material? When the Post was daily attacking RB and the MMD government, did you complain? Did you criticise Mmembe?

Please lets not spoil our president; he means well and promised to listen to advice, if he omits something, it is our responsibility to remind him. Reminding him should not mean that we do not love him. This is were we go wrong and spoil our leaders who mean well.History has it that Dr. Kaunda started well and was listening to concerns raised by people; then those around him turned him to Kumulu ni lesa, pansi Kaunda-The good man became seemingly “bad”.So, was FTJ, great,brave,principled whilst a trade unionist, but later, we went to sleep and allowed him to make mistakes.
For me, please lets not sleep, Our president wants to work in an effectively and transparent manner with zero tolerance to corruption, so reminding him of windfall tax is just good, because we need that money for the various developmental projects that he outlined in his speech in Parliament. Please Do not shield him blindly.

The Announcement by the PF Govt is welcome and long overdue,but my advice is that Govt should leave it to the local private sector,its very costly to set up an airline from the scratch,best Govt should do is reduce jet fuel price,reduce all taxes such as landing,navigation and ground handling charges by the Airport Authority to make easy to venture into aviation and then ask the local private sector with tangible business plans to come forward and set their AIRLINES.
This PPP issue should have been done by late President Chiluba when Zambia Airways had all the infrastructure and human resource.
It is a well known fact World over, most Govt controlled airlines are doing badly but just being heavily subsidized.In Africa maybe Ethiopian and Kenya Airways seem be doing fine.
Aviation has gone Low Cost Carrier or Budget airlines like 1time,Easy jet,Kingfisher etc cutting costs and making flying affordable.
